Easy replacement for lost ones
I had a handrail with a few of these missing. They are bare wood so I used a few of them to get the stain match then they were easy to install. They do seem to vary just a little in size which turns out was a good thing in my case.

Great product
We were selling a four-year old house and these little hole covers had been coming off of our stairs. I guess the builder just stuck them in the holes but did not glue them. We had several holes in the stairway where these plugs were once installed and of course I wanted to replace them because it looked terrible. I received these and they fit the holes perfectly. I used a furniture pen to match the stain color of the stairs. In the end you could not tell the difference between these and the originals.

There were only eleven pegs in the package instead of twelve. Luckily I only needed eleven.

Yep, they work
Man these things were just like advertised! For real and for true, these are the best!!!Yeah, probably over the top, but they asked for a review and it's kinda hard to come up with more to say about little round pieces of wood.Bottom line, if you have a small hole to fill with wood then these will do the job. Now get your mind out of the gutter and order these already. I even added pictures so you can see how well they work.

worked perfectly for our railings
We moved into a house a month ago and when sanding and painting our wood railings to the upstairs we noticed a button was missing. This worked perfectly. Glued it, then painted it in. Looks great.

The button head plug worked perfectly in a chair I was restoring.
The back of the chair was missing one button head. These were slightly more rounded, but fit perfectly in the hole. After painting the chair, the slight variation in size is not noticeable. I have since used 4 of the plugs as legs on a wooden square I painted to use as a "trivet" for hot dishes.
