Best book purchase!
This is one of the nicest children books I have purchased.My grandson was so excited to receive it, he is 4 years old and has lots of books but this one is special. He takes it everywhere he goes.

Perfect Re-telling!
I think this book has the perfect re-telling of the story! Why I didn't give 5 stars is that this book is HUGE. Wow, I guess I didn't pay attention to the size before ordering it so maybe that's my fault. But the board book is not only really thick--each page but the size of the entire book is huge too. I have a ton of children books on my shelf for my kids. I don't need this one to take this much space. And come to think about it, not sure if it will even fit on my book shelf. Anyways, it's a great story and the illustrations are awesome!

We love the lap books!
Reading is important to my daughter and baby grandson. The lap books are perfect. He is attracted to the bright illustrations and texture of the pages. The books are well written and wonderfully illustrated.

Got this book for a gift, but 4 yr old didn’t really enjoy it!

Original Storyline, Simple for kids- highly recommend!!

Great book with wonderful illustrations!
I bought this book for my grandson. It is very sturdy, beautiful and colourful illustrations, and classic story of Pinocchio. Would definitely recommend!

It was a “dogfish” indeed (not a whale)!
I write this review as I see few people complain about the choice of the shark instead of a whale. They seem not to be familiar with the original novel of Carlo Collodi of 1883 where he describes The Terrible Dogfish (Italian: Il Terribile Pescecane) as a dogfish-like sea monster which swallowed Geppetto and Pinocchio. This monster in the Disney version becomes a whale (which contradictory is drawn with teeth). So I think it’s acceptable the choice of the author to draw a shark instead.
