The hook is convenient for holding poop bags. After my pitbull drug it behind him, chasing a squirrel, it came back to me unharmed, the quality and durability is there for sure. HIGHLY recommend especially for the price!!!

The whole thing is pretty Stout and had some weight to it. The poop bag holder is very handy to have too with it didn't have the spring opening but it is good to have the baggies handy. Our dog loves it and gets excited when she sees us pick it up.

I really like this leash! The handle has a bit of a rubber grip to it which makes it nice for when you’re out in the rain. The other plastic retractable leashes I have don’t have the rubber grip and can be hard to keep a hold of when my dog gets excited. The light is great to have when it’s dark, I like that it’s battery operated because you don’t have to buy a new one when it goes out. The light. Lips right to the top of the leash for easy use. The clip is sturdy, I’m not worried about my German Shepherd breaking it if she pulls against it. The lock button stays locked and doesn’t come undone if my dog pulls against it! Overall, it’s a great leash and I’m scored to finally have a sudsy leash!

In this review I will be very bold because this is the leash, the thing that allows me to control my pet and keep her and others around safe.So the product is junk which paid for lots of banners on Amazon. Within a month bag dispenser and flashlight broke. Boom, 2 out of 3 items that form this item are bad. The dispenser had a weak hinge that just cracked (spring is too tight or hinge plastic is too fragile). Flashlight was unstable from day 1. It was blinking after 5 minutes of work. I've changed batteries, adjusted spring inside. Died after a few days.Can I trust a leash where accessories are failing on such a high rate and so easy? Absolutely not. I’ve been struggling to find a flashlight leash for months. I’ve bought 2 subpar leashes with built-in lights that were barely bright enough to cast a shaddow. I’ve tweaker-rigged a flashlight onto my old leash, and finally this one comes along. If the light it comes with isn’t bright enough for you, use another with a similar diameter and just swap out the metal clip. Everything about the leash part is fine. Quality leash tape, comfortable handle grip, and decent enough lock. The flexi brand lock is the gold standard imo, but this ones a close 2nd.

UPDATE - I can't find a replacement flashlight since my granddaughter lost this one. It slides off and on, which makes sense, but to a 3 year old, it isn't important enough to remember where she put it. :( ----------------------------------It is a really nice leash. The 'bag holder/treat holder is not the best; I had the top come off twice. However, I have clipped another bag holder on to the handle and it works fine.Since I take my dog out early in the morning and at night, having the flashlight attached to the handle is a huge help! I used to try to hold the leash, and a flashlight (sometimes holding it in my mouth), while picking up the mess with my other hand. This is a nice alternative!Good sturdy handle, clip and line! Good value over all!

This review is updated from my original, where I gave the product 1 star. I was unhappy with the leash because it broke on the first use -- during a one hour walk with my 20 lb mini schnauzer, the leash got stuck multiple times and about halfway through our walk, would no longer retract at all. I immediately submitted a request for a refund, but after three days of what I thought was no response from the seller, I contacted Amazon. Turns out Stark's replies were going to spam. Long story short, Stark was eager to refund my purchase promptly, was eager to fix the problem, and even provided me a replacement leash at no charge in hopes that the original leash was just a defective one. It's not ideal when the product you order doesn't work, but the best you can hope for is a seller who is responsive and cares about addressing your concerns. If the replacement leash works, I'm sure I'll try other Stark products in the future.

Significant upgrade to the leash i was using. The bungee end is great for absorbing some of the impact when doggo takes off and reaches the end of the leash. Also he likes to walk around with the leash in his mouth which on the old leash he's worn thru it three times. So hopefully the bungee/anti-chew end will really deliver on the durability promise.The uncoiling and coiling is very smooth. I wish it were a touch faster while winding in but it's alright in that respect. The extra accessories are fantastic, I don't need to walk around with a poop bag in my pocket or even remember to grab one, they're right here on the handle. And now with the time change and the early darkness, a flashlight is a must and now that's right on the leash as well , i don't have to carry one in my other hand.The rubber handle is nice to grip, i can't wait to try it in the dead of winter in gloves, the rubber should help it grip to gloves pretty well too.Overall, this is a fantastic leash, the Rolls Royce of leashes if you will as far as i've tried so far.

This leash boasts itself on its stitching being extra durable and hard to chew through due to the fishing line sewn on each side down the retractable leash material. Well that's a bunch of crap. We had to tie an area in a knot to stop it from snapping whole out walking our 6 month old pup. She barely chewed at it during the walk and it was ripped over half way through. Definitely not anymore durable than the retractable leash from a dollar store and this is much more expensive. Also just like other reviews, the flashlight doesn't stay in the slot on the leash after falling off once. Now it comes off very easily and almost got lost a few times. And the baggy accessory that was included, does not attach like the pic shows on the handle. You have to clip it across the actual area where your hand is holding the leash and it doesn't stay very well, so took it off the leash right away. Overall very disappointed. Possibly going to look into returning it and getting my money back. What a waste.

I super liked this until it fell apart on me about 6 weeks in. The spring inside must have broke or something as it stopped retracting. Not worth the money if you want it to last.

The recoil failed after just 3 months. Poor quality. I would not recommend this item

Every thing is great except the poo bag carrier does not attagh and stay on the leash
