Excellent light 4 the kitchen. Very bright. Didn't realized how dim the old one was when I turned that one on. Installed it by myself. Easy to do in less than 30 minutes. Very satisfied with this purchase.

After recently purchasing a house the first thing I did was upgrade the lighting. Most bulbs were replaced with the exception of the garage which had ancient halogen lamps. I pulled them down and replaced with these AntLux LED lamps which made a huge difference in the garage. The LED lamps are much more energy efficient and don't require any time to warm up to their full brightness. Pros: 1. Easy installation, 4 screws and 3 wires 2. Very Bright with a clean look (4-5K Kelvin) Cons: 1. Junction Box Screw mounts did not line up 2. Diffuser didn't fully attach to the frame/mount. I had bend the metal frame outward to keep it from falling 3. Wire punch-outs weren't removed. Bent and removed with pliers 3 Month Update: After 3 months of use both light covers I installed have randomly fallen, luckily not on top of any car or person. They aren't heavy but they are flimsy. The diffuser does not seat well onto the assembly which means bugs will get in this worse than a standard wrap-around. I've had to clean them out several times already. I'm now adding some double-sided tape to try and make for a better hold and hopefully keep some of the bugs out. I have to dock a star or two because I'd rather upgrade to a sturdy piece. 11/18/2020 Update: AntLux reached out after seeing my 3-month update. They offered to send replacement diffusers to see if that resolves the issues. Currently, the diffusers are taped in place and don't look all that appealing. I'm really hoping that this fixes the issue and I no longer have to worry about the lights falling on anything/anyone. Great customer service and they seem to stand behind their products.

I purchased this light to replace a 4-tube fluorescent fixture in my kitchen when its ballast failed. The primary selling point for me was the claimed 6,600 lumens and natural light color temperature, which is about equivalent to cool white. Installation seemed no less, or more, difficult than similar overhead fixtures. I figure I'll save roughly 50% on electricity. I am very pleased with the light it produces which was my top priority. Shoppers will need to judge for themselves regarding its appearance. For me, in a kitchen ceiling, it's OK, but nothing to write home about. I deducted 1 star for the lack of forthright disclosure in the ad that, as the picture shows, this fixture does not have actual LED tubes. It has strips of LED's glued to the fixture. These are the same type of strip you would see in an LED tube if it was not frosted. LED's do last a long time, and as I said, I have no problem with this fixture's light output. But whenever these strip LED's fail, I will need to buy an entire new fixture, a trip to a store for replacement tubes will not work. The fixture this replaces, in my kitchen was usually on about 15 hours: switched on when I got up, off when I went to bed. It was nice not to have to worry about turning it on when my hands were full. At 15 hours a day a 50,00 hour lifetime works out to about 9 years.

I ordered a pack of four lights. Two worked perfectly, but one arrived defective with half the light not working. I confirmed the wiring was correct and tested it with different outlets, but the issue remained. The other defective light was damaged during shipping and arrived severely bent, which appears to be due to the flimsy build quality. For $220, I expected much better materials and durability.

This is the most awesome light ever! It arrived on time. Can't say much for the packaging. It wasn't very thick but even so, the light arrived in perfect condition. I was hesitant to buy it because I'm not a big fan of LED lights although I do like the ones in my closet. Someone said they had trouble getting the cover on and there were a few other complaints but I decided to take a chance. I had florescent lighting in my kitchen (a round puff one) and the last time I bought new bulbs, the clerk advised me to buy extras because they are being phased out. I did not take his advice but since I did get a stimulus check, I thought now would be a good time to buy a new light. It took longer to remove the old light than it did to install the new one! There was a problem that it wasn't straight in that one end was higher than the other and it was not flush with the ceiling. I think that's because the metal is very thin. It was an easy fix. We cut a piece of the Styrofoam that came with it so it just fit perfectly between the top of the light and the ceiling. That made it very sturdy. Then, my son-in-law turned the light on. OMG! I can't believe how BRIGHT is is! It actually hurt my eyes but after a few hours, my eyes adjusted. I no longer need my under the counter lighting because it brightens up the entire kitchen (I will keep it for night lights). It throws enough light over the kitchen table that I can now actually sit at the table and read. I am so happy with my new light! I will also save money on my light bill! Life is good and I highly recommend this light. There is one minor downfall. Apparently it cannot be used with a dimmer wall switch. I did read that before I made my purchase but I never dreamed the light would be so bright that I would want a dimmer.

Measurements were incorrect on the instructions. Why we only gave 4 stars.
