🇺🇸 English These plates are amazing! The material is great—they can fall and won’t break. They have plenty of space, and my 7-year-old finds it very easy to eat because the rim is high, so the food doesn’t spill out. They’re just perfect. They’re also very easy to wash and come in different colors. We’re honestly delighted with them, so if you’re looking for good, reliable plates, I can confidently recommend these. 🇪🇸 Español Estos platos están espectaculares, tienen muy buen material, se caen y no se rompen. Tienen muy buen espacio, mi hijo tiene 7 años y se le hace fácil comer pues el borde es alto y no se sale la comida, están perfectos. Se lavan muy fácil y vienen en diferentes colores. Plates are sturdy, good size, and my daughter loves the colors. Great customer service - one plate arrived broken. I emailed them late in the evening on a Friday, expecting to hear back sometime the following week. Instead had a response waiting for me when I woke up. They immediately shipped out the replacement set of plates with no need to ship back the initial set (which is great - because the whole reason I ordered online was because I don’t have time to go to the store to physically purchase- so not having to find time to return the broken set was a breath of fresh air)

We own several sets of wheat straw plates for our kids, and have been satisfied with those for a few years now. However, I tried out this bamboo set finally and was blown away by their amazing surface feel, and their sleek, always-new look. They are rated to be top rack dishwasher safe, so I have been washing them in the top rack of the dishwasher without any sign of wear whatsoever. They look as brand new as the day I got them, whereas the wheat straw dishes I own have gotten scratchy and kind of a pebbly surface over time. They are incredibly sturdy (no give at all) and just the right size for a preschooler's dinner, with the high walls to keep it all INSIDE. On the whole, I'd recommend these for any time you don't plan to microwave a small dish of food. The colors are really cheerful and bright, like Crayola crayons, not like a cheaper imitation that only looks good in photos. This is the real deal.

We’ve been using the WeeSprout bamboo plates, bowls, and utensils for our toddler and overall really like them. The weight and aesthetic are beautiful, and we appreciate the clean, non-toxic quality of the materials. Customer service truly stood out — one item arrived broken, and they quickly shipped a replacement with no hassle, which we really appreciated. We tested the plates, bowls, and utensils on the bottom rack of the dishwasher and had no issues, which was a big plus for us. However, durability is where these fall short for toddler use. Our toddler dropped one of the bowls, and it partially shattered, which was disappointing and honestly a major downside. They are not microwave-safe, but we knew that going in and understand given the material, so that wasn’t a dealbreaker. Overall, these are well-made, attractive, and thoughtfully designed products. If your toddler is in a heavy “drop everything” phase, you may want to keep that in mind.

It’s only been a couple weeks so early to assess a full test of long term durability but so far I am impressed. Almost immediately I ended up dropping one from a high height while placing up on a shelf and it slammed into floor with only a minor dent, no cracks or shattering. I actually bought them not for their intended use, but as saucer trays for planters in my home to catch excess water drainage. I was looking for a biodegradable and nicer looking alternative to plastic planter trays and saucers, and the high walls for messy toddlers makes them also perfect for preventing drainage runoff onto furniture as a clumsy home gardeners who sometimes over waters. Even with pots that came with a drainage tray the capacity is often minuscule and easy to overrun of not careful. I was also recently experimenting with hydro spikes and accidentally had a reservoir water level too high and it over flowed significantly while I wasn’t paying attention and the plate caught a ton of water with none spilling over before I caught it. I like that they come in colors but that unlike most toddler style plates these have more muted natural palette with a matte finish that works much better for my purposes. I’d love to see these offered with options like sets of the same color if preferred or differing diameters. I’m sure these are great for toddlers and little kids, but if you’re like me and looking for something to catch houseplant drainage overflow with a little more capacity but trying to avoid tacky looking and non-biodegradable plastics these are worth a try.
