Amazon Basics Foldable Metal Clothes Drying Rack Airer, 74.9 x 36.8 x 106.2 cm

Great clothes, horse as we love in Northern Ireland the weather has been pretty rubbish with a lot of rain. We needed a spare clotheshorse. Does the job nicely ready up and all in the box easy to set up used doesn’t take up much space. Price one in Tesco was 30 quid. This one only 21.99 bargain thankyou Amazon

Was really fed up keeping buying airers and they kept buckling and breaking. Brought cheap ones to expensive kinky ones. This one is very good! Very sturdy, lightweight easy to use and fold away. Made very well. Only disappointment was how short it is. I expected it to be higher or at least as high as your average one. Will say I’m not one to look at measurements. Just wish they did it in a talker version. However I am very happy and will purchase more

This thing is super strong and im really surprised with how durable it is for the price

There are always times when an indoor clothes airer is going to be needed and, after much searching on Amazon, I decided to buy this product. Delivered in a sturdy cardboard box which gave good protection, this is the stainless steel model with black hanging rails. It was very stiff to open up at first, and to keep it upright the top section has to be fitted onto the opposite rail. At the moment, this is also very stiff but only because the product is new. There is a mass of storage space and plenty of room between the hanging rails so that clothes are not clinging to one another - so making drying faster. I did like the design at the top. It has a number of close hanging rails for smaller items, such as socks perhaps, but could also be used for clothing that needs to be dried flat. This is quite a sizeable item (width-wise), wider than my old one, but it is so lightweight I have hung it on a couple of over-door coat hooks inside a hallway cupboard. Perfect. Out of the way until needed and so light it doesn't put any presser on the door - or the hooks, for that matter. If you are looking for a basic indoor clothes airer, I don't think you need look any further. This is perfect for the purpose. If you do intend placing it outside, I would suggest not using it in breezy/windy conditions else it could easily be blown over. That being said, this is designed for indoor use - or perhaps for use on a balcony. Easy 5 star rating left for this product and I will certainly be recommending it to friends.

This dryer looks lovely in silver and black! It folds easily and is lightweight. It is small, so good if you have limited space. Does not hold very much so only suitable for a single person, or perhaps as an extra to your usual one. If you only intend to use it indoors it is good, but it will blow over in the slightest breeze outside and it has no way of anchoring it - my old one had bars across the bottom and I used to put a bag of cat litter on top of them to anchor it. The other thing I don't like much is that it is not tall enough. I wear tunic top uniforms and I was hoping to hang them at each end, but they sit on the floor if I do this. For smaller items and things you can fold over the rails, like jeans etc., it is very good. All in all, good value for money but with a couple of drawbacks.

Got to love a concertina clothes horse and finding this in stainless steel was a revelation. the 'rungs' on which the clothes are laid are covered in firm black plastic but that is a good thing for the clothes. Using it outside it necessary to wedge something at the bottom because a gust of wind can blow it over. Its very light weight but by doing this it stays firm and in place. I am disabled and have been able to take it up and down stairs with ease because its so light weight and when flat slim in depth. It can easily be slotted in a little hidey hole when not in use. TIP: some years ago I had a heavier wooden one in a London flat. I put some 'shaker style' pegs on the wall, high up, in my bathroom and stored it there. that is a possibility for some for storage for this. I can highly recommend this product. Glad I purchased it.

I had to purchase a new clothes horse after my foster kitten somehow broke my other one. I went for this one. It is sturdy and good quality however I find it to be a bit too small. It would be a good secondary clothes horse if you need extra drying space, but it shouldn't be a main one due to how little space there is.

Bought a while back very robust and with a good capacity. Lower chest height for some one 5'7"

Sturdy, lightweight, and easy to handle. Bars are spaced just perfectly to get lots of clothes on there, but without crowding. Just what I needed. I noticed more heavy duty ones on the market but to me that would be a waste of money. This totally does the job. Hanging a large, full load can be a little tight but I make it work. I hang the odd item in my closet to dry if I really need more space. Collapsing it after use takes a good yank. A kid could have trouble doing it, or an adult with really bad arthritis. Elderly folks may want to just keep it set up. I bought this thinking I’d just hang my delicate load but then a heat wave hit. I was SO glad I didn’t need to heat up the house by using my dryer! I will be hanging far more clothes and using far less energy in the future. Great value and I’m grateful for this product.

No rust, sturdy enough. I always trust amazon basics. They are cheap, but the quality is always assured.
