Echo Metal 0436-142 Egg Hole

I wrote a negative review - the needle did not pierce deep enough. Another review said we can rotate the center piece to Unlock Needle. That now works great and I give the unit 5 stars. The info was in Japanese so I had no idea.

Everyone has a different trick to boiling eggs but using this tool to prick a small hole on the large end of the egg is the best. Eggs cook without any cracks in the shells and peel easily.

Made cheaply, but works - provided you know how! First, make sure you spin the inner cup to the open position to the left. If you spin it in the other direction the bowl locks and will not retract or pop up. Just be careful that you don't puncture your finger tip.

I can’t believe how a tiny hole can make a big change in my eating habits!! I’ve always trying to eat more eggs for health but peeling hard boiled eggs are so daunting so it made me not eat as much. This little tool fixed the issue!!! I can peel egg shells in no time now and I’m eating more eggs because of this!

The media could not be loaded. Product can do the job. I love the safety feature of this.

You have to put so much pressure onto it for the needle to pop that you will crush more eggs than you will pierce the shell. Get a different one.

Wish I had known before but I know now..and love how easy this makes getting the shells off.
