East ti cut ti size, Stopped my runner from slipping when the kittys run across it (and the people too!). Is soft to the foot. Great material. I used this in the entrance to my home to be placed underneath a runner carpet that my kitties ran across and constantly displaced. I was also worried about people slipping but now with this underneath there is no problem. Great product....easy to cut to size and use.

Got this to go under an older, thin wool rug on a hardwood floor. It keeps it in place, provides cushioning, and reduces noise for my downstairs neighbors.

Have been buying these pads for a few years now. The recent set we purchased did have an awful smell. I called the company directly and they offered to refund me or send new pads. So new pads are on their way. Apparently there was an issue where the rubber didn’t fully cure, giving off a pungent smell. I love these because they’re thick and nonslip, which I need for my rambunctious kids!

Everything about the rug pad is excellent. Good thickness, soft and very adhesive for hardwood floors. My only complaint is that it smells horrible when taken out of the bag. It took about two or three days to air out. I don't know if that can be remedied or not but eventually the smell went away.

We recently purchased a new 12 x 15 rug. Our local HD and Lowes did not sell pads for a rug this size, so I improvised and used carpet padding. It added a nice cushion under our new rug, but we were struggling to get rid of the creases in the new rug. We love the new rug, and it looks great in our space, but we were frustrated that after a month it was still not laying flat.After doing a little research, I came to conclusion we needed a better rug pad. I was not excited about the price of this pad, but decided to give it a go. It fixed all of our problems, and our new rug now lays much flatter with minimal creases. It is not as cushy as the carpet padding, but I think that extra cushion was contributing to our challenges of getting the new rug to lay flat and creases to fall out. So while this pad was a bit pricey, it was worth the investment. Seems very well made, and I suspect we will get many years of use out of it.

Really good quality with clean cut edges. It really makes a difference under my thin, jute rug… Now it feels like a plush wool rug under my feet! Happy I spent the extra $ to get the dual sided option because my crazy kittens can run and slide across the rug— it doesn’t budge!

I have hardwood floors and 3 dogs. This keeps the rug from sliding around. It makes my thin more cushioned. I will buy a few more for my other rugs.

My rug feels so high quality with this padding under it.One reason i got it was because my dogs tear through the house and leave all the rugs in a pile. Not anymore. Everything stays put now.The softness question was a mystery to me. It is not soft, but, does have a nice give as one walks on it.

A good product. Be careful of the size though. The ad says 8x10 but we received a 9x12 so instead of sending it back and waiting another week and a half I just cut it to size.
