Excellent bezel. The nuts were missing in the hardware that came with it but I contacted Rugged Ridge and they resent a new bag of hardware right away. Can't complain. Fits perfectly and looks great.

Costs about as much as a new plastic retainer plus boot, but I am pretty sure this one won't break. Simple to install, you don't need to remove the shift handle. Just be sure to retain the bottom half of the old ring.

Overall, it is acceptable. Although, I think I am going to paint mine. I guess it includes everything you need and some simple directions. But, you’ll need to have a drill handy and different screws. My kilt came with M5x10 screws. However, no way that was working on my ‘08 JK. After some drilling and a quick trip to get some M5x12 screws, it went together quickly.

This arrived and I eagerly opened the box. To my surprise the black paint was already scraped off in several spots. I then looked closer and noticed how cheaply made this shifter boot cover was. The top surface is not smooth, you can see each pass the CNC machine made to shape the cover. This thing went instantly back to amazon. Rugged Ridge should be ashamed of this. No Jeep deserves this.

Perfect replacement for the broken plastic one in my Jeep. The new shift boot bezel was in perfect shape and painted gloss black. I received the black Allen screws, nuts & lock washers with my order. The installation was simple and took about 20 minutes and that included reading the instructions. I would recommend this product to anyone in need of a new shift boot bezel.

My husband helped me install this bezel on my JK Jeep. The original bezel broke from its base. We did not remove the shift knob and worked together to install the new bezel bolts, washers and screws on the base. You will need to pry the base off the console. Also, we needed to remove the broken tabs from the base by punching them out with a small screw driver. The new bezel is definitely an improvement in terms of quality over the plastic factory part. In my opinion, I think this bezel will last a very long time.

Cool look.It wasn't hard to install, but the only thing that I questioned was where the placement of the washer went. There are depressions on the top bezel that fit them perfectly… but then I thought maybe they went underneath between the bottom bezel and the nut?I also wasn't happy with the greyed color of the bolts so I repainted them black.I'm new to adding accessories to the Jeep, and I decided to put the washers on the top between the bolt and the top bezel. I tightened from the bottom and nothing seemed to move, so I'll go with this as long as it stays together!A simple diagram showing the nut/bolt/washer/boot/bottom bezel/top bezel layered together would have been helpful, but it's still a great sturdy product. Looks great with my black billet manual shifter...

Queda muy bien, es de buen material se ve tal cual la original pero de metal, es una bronca ponerlo, cuando te llegue has literal lo que dice las instrucciones LITERAL. Porfin encontré como comprar buenas partes para mi JK en México

Way too pricey (hey it's a Jeep thing after all...) BUT it does what Chrysler should have done with the boot, i.e. not glue it but screw it.Took about 45 minutes to install. The screws are very short so be sure to clean the whole parts to remove all the glue from the ancient bezel to be able to screw with the nuts.
