A combat boot silhouette is bursting with stylish details and accents for a distinctive result. Diesel has long been a leading pioneer in denim and casual fashion, known for moving outside and ahead of trends in its industry. Renzo Rosso created the Diesel brand in 1978, choosing the name because it is easy to understand, pronounced the same way around the world, and has a rugged feel about it; at that time, diesel was also considered an "alternative energy" so it was representative of an alternative taste in casual wear. While always retaining its DNA, in recent years Diesel has evolved into the world of premium casual wear, becoming a true alternative to the established luxury market. Diesel thrives on change: it produces no less than 3,000 new products each season and each one derives from a process of enormous creative freedom, thus ensuring constant innovation.

Very trendy, but little support
Overall, this boot gives off somewhat of a dressy but relaxed appearance. Very suitable for younger adults keeping up with the trends. The leather is nothing exceptional and though the toe region will be prone to scuffs, they can easily be polished away. I ended up returning this boot, however, due to the absolute lack of support. Plan on buying inserts if you fancy the design of this boot. Overall, it is a decent shoe, but it was clearly designed with a focus on fashion more than comfort or high quality. For lovers of ankle boots, pay $100-$200 more and get a boot that will last you 5+ years and not force you to choose between destroying your feet and looking good.

Nice, well-made, comfortable boots that are SILLY slick on most surfaces.
Comfortable, well-made, good-looking boots. They are easy to get on and off, although the zipper on the OUTSIDE of the boot is a bit awkward and counter-intuitive. They have a pseudo-military look to them but are not heavy, clunky, and over-done for a day-to-day casual boot. The footbed is extremely comfortable- not too firm, not too squishy. Leather and other materials are of good quality. Zippers operate extremely well. Other metal parts feel robust. The foot of the boots is a bit narrow- not bad, but not a lot of real estate. The shafts are relatively narrow, too so if you have big calves, the zipper may live at half-mast. The color, to my eyes, is a bit lighter than conveyed in the Amazon storefront pictures, but not too far off. They are a traditional, dark, "Army" olive.Only issue I have so far is that the unbroken in soles are ridiculously slippery- like all new leather-soles, except NOT. There are very small/shallow grooves under the ball of the foot that I guess are supposed to aid traction, but they do nothing. Carpet feels like ice and most other hard surfaces make for cautious strides. I get that they are not supposed to look like or be work/jump/field boots, but a little more tread on ANY boot makes more sense to me. Even after scuffing the soles after hours of wear, they are still very slippery. At >$75, I would likely pass, but under $50, as mine were at the time, I would absolutely buy again.

Gorgeous boot, comfortable
I don't wear boots too often, but when I do they better feel good on my feet. I know better then to do much walking in any boot, so mainly I wear them to work during the work day. This one feels comfortable all day long and I'm not dyeing to get it off. In addition, I can wear with long socks or ankle socks and it feels fine - many boots you have to wear a boot sock with because it rubs too much against you. My only gripes are 1) that the leather doesn't have that beautiful new leather smell like most nice boots too, but it's definitely real leather and my feet breathe easy in these.. And 2) the zipper is a little stiff. Maybe with the stiff zipper it will last longer, who knows.

These Boots Aren't Made For Walking....
These are stylish boots but unfortunately the zipper will not stay up. I'm not sure whether my shoes just had faulty zippers or if it has something to do with the style. The zipper runs up the side of the boot and ankle where there is constant motion. I think somehow this pushes the zipper down until it's come undone. I think it's got more to do with the style and not so much about a broken zipper because both zippers on my left and right shoe will not stay up. If you want to avoid extra stress in your life, don't buy these boots! Luckily the seller was nice enough to give me some money back for which I an appreciative.

Boots
Excellent boot for the price, just finished off my second pair. My boots are the only footwear I own and wear, so obviously constant use, these lasted about 1.5 years of all season abuse. These can basically be used in any dress setting, If you need grip for work or hiking, these boots are basically tap shoes, when the coatings wear off the soles, the boots become increasingly slippery to walk in, the heel begins to wear down and eventually the center of the soles. the sole has never begun to break away from the upper and the upper barely wears, usually the death of a cheap boot. The heel is a hard block of a strong plastic fiber material, these are loud when you walk on hard surfaces, you will sound like you are marching, which is occasionally hilarious and/or annoying. Heel inserts for certain. I wear an 11, fit is fine, they do not look chunky or crude.Since I buy a boot to wear exclusively until they fall apart or die, these are excellent for the price, I would prefer a similar boot with more grip, being too poor for my tastes, these function, these are boots.

Very disappointed. I like the look and feel of these ...
Very disappointed. I like the look and feel of these boots, but the soles are so hard that it is literally like walking on ice. There is (in my opinion) no traction at all, you slip and slide all over the place in these boots. I feel it is not safe, and quite annoying. This was so bad that I could not bear it, and returned the boots. I don't want to have to compromise on something like that after spending $140.00.I would not buy these again, and if I was looking for a similar boot, I would look elsewhere until Diesel does something about this.

Nice, but not perfect.
Haven't had a leather soled boot in awhile. This said, the break in time looks like it will be less than other boots I have gotten lately, The one thing I am not real pleased with is the zipper is on the outside of the boots. This presents a challenge to me in zipping up. I am use to having the zipper on the inside and never had a pair that was otherwise.

OUCH!!!!
I've only used them one day. However, it was a painful day. NO arch support at all. The heal is extremely hard. the sole is extremely thin. My feet had chafing. So far these are the most uncomfortable shoes ever put on

stylish and a good fit
Boots are very stylish, leather supple. A slightly more snug fit than I expected as I have narrow feet, ok for me though. Unlike most boots these don't make my UK size 11 feet look like canal barges! I can see they would benefit from new soles after a few weeks of wear, and soles with better grip. But what was really phenomenal was the delivery time from the U.S. to UK - I had the boots less than 48 hours after ordering. Thank you Addicted Style!

If you want something that falls apart be my guest.
Great shoes when you look at them but absolutely rubbish quality, better off buying a pair of Dune's, DocMartins or another product like that. After one week of wearing them they started easily chipping at the heels, materials started tearing to show the inner soles. So i would recommend not buying them. Look elsewhere for a good pair of boots.

Toller Style
