At last, my love has come along...
Searching for an analog watch that doesn't have the 311 phases of the moons of Jupiter is hard. They're fashionable now, for jewelery challenged men, and all I can say is that's all fine as fish fur unless you are active, and 12 pounds of steel and glass tend to get in your way.I loved the Timex Datalinks, as they preceded smart phones by 7000 years. Now, I just need to know what time it is, and what day it is, and once in a great while, what the date is.I have used Trident velcro watch bands for 20 years now. They are ultralight, and if you can find a light watch, you really don't even know it's there until you hear that slurred murmor "What time is it?" in the middle of the night in the middle of no where. This watch is astonishing. Not only is it light, super light, but the Titanium is really fun to touch. It has a touch like no other metal, and a certain luster that turns me on like a radio. I used titanium engine parts in race engines, but I never really saw the luster and color of this very, very special metal.I love Seiko. I love Honda. I love quality. I hated to take the band off, as its real racer Titanium too, but I had too, as I sail a lot, and the glint from a bright metal watch band can get in your eyes easily. Metal bands also don't adjust as you lose or gain weight. This watch is so light, it weighs, with the velcro band, .9 ounces on a postal scale. The Timex Expedition it replaces weighs twice as much, at 1.9 ounces. Another nice thing about the Seiko is the dial is easily readable at night, without the indiglo feature of the Timex, which chews battery power. Also, the 37MM size is perfect for me. It slips under elastic sleeves easily, and again, is so light I have to look to see if I put it on that day. "It looked so nice out today, I left it out all day." D. BakerIf you are looking for a watch that you can read in a glance while under attack by 5000 screaming killers, dead drunk in the middle of the night, and wear to a recital the next day, this is your animal. Titanium is way cool. Seiko is way cool. And, it tells time.Color me in love with this watch.

Good looking, easy to read, very lightweight and at a great price
I bought this watch to wear while my 50-year old Swiss chronometer was in for service, and to wear when I don't want the old timer banged around. I'm very happy with the Seiko. After figuring out how to set the day/date and time (the instructions aren't great), and adjusting the bracelet, I've been wearing it regularly. (By the way, removing links from the bracelet was a little challenging, but after removing the first retaining pin, I got the feel for it, and the rest went quickly. Check on You Tube for videos on how to do it. All I needed was a very small screw driver.)The watch is so comfortable on my wrist, I forget I'm wearing it. The case and bracelet are titanium, and amazingly lightweight. With its quartz mechanism, the watch is also much thinner than my old mechanical watch. It also seems at least as accurate as the old chronometer. The black face and white hands make it easy to read without the watch looking clunky. However the day and date are a little small for my old eyes. Some people have had negative comments that the bracelet feeling cheap or flimsy. I don't agree. I think its lightweight, but strong material (titanium) allows lighter construction, and for the price, it seems well-finished. So far, it has not shown any weakness or need for adjustment, other than the initial sizing. This Seiko is not glitzy, but it certainly doesn't look cheap, just sort of "business-like."So far, I have not had the watch in water to test its waterproof-ness, and probably will never submerge it, at least not on purpose.I don't expect this watch to last 50 years, but I'm completely satisfied with it now, and expect it to do all that I want of it.

Still holding up after a year of everyday use
I have had this watch for nearly a year now, so it is about time for an update. I was looking for a versatile, durable, metal watch that could be used in a variety of settings from everyday, active, to business casual. This watch has generally done the job and keep accurate enough time for my purposes - never losing or gaining more than a few seconds per month or so.The titanium is less shiny/brilliant than a polished stainless steel watch, which makes it less conspicuous and flashy -- good for an everyday watch in my opinion. The titanium is also far lighter in weight than steel, which might give an impression of cheapness if you are not expecting it. The good part about the light weight is that it doesn't feel "cold" on the wrist when first putting it on like some steel watches do.The luminescence is quite weak, unless you happen to be walking indoors immediately from the bright sun, don't expect it to do much. Go elsewhere if you rely on your watch being visible in the dark. The band is made out of stamped metal folded over itself and around flat inserts. This gives a stiff feeling to the band as it is less flexible than the type in which the links are connected with pins. It does make it it easier to adjust the length of the bracelet without using any special tools. I would recommend using a miniature flathead screwdriver, like what you might use for eyeglass hinges, to separate the links and adjust the bracelet. After a year of use there is some scratching on the band and clasp from the watch rubbing against my desk when sitting and typing and from general use -- but it is not particularly unsightly. There is one scratch on the bezel that happened in the first week that I owned the watch. It seems as though titanium is not particularly scratch-proof.Overall, I would recommend this watch. All-in-all, it has served me well as an everyday watch.

Great Value
I have had this watch for about a month now and it has kept accurate time and the day/date works as it should, I have always been satisfied with Seiko/Japan. It is easy to read at a glance and I especially like the light weight titanium plus the size fits my smaller wrist perfectly. I saw this same watch priced at $295.00 at one of our larger chain stores last week.Delivery service was very good and I would recommend this product as being a great value.

Ottimo Seiko!
Bello, semplice e chiaro nella lettura notturna, per me prezzo più che giusto, considerando anche che è in titanio, ottimo:)

I absolutely love this watch
Bought this to replace a 20 year old Seiko which I sadly lost. I wanted a similar type of watch to wear every day with bold military style luminous numerals, luminous hands & a day & date function all in a case which is not too big so it doesnt look out of place on my wrist. When the watch arrived I was not disappointed. What I also liked is that being titanium its so light, can hardly tell I'm wearing it. I have never liked half a kilo weight watches hanging off my wrist anyway. Had to remove a link from the bracelet which was quite easy & it now fits nicely on my wrist. The bracelet isn't perhaps as well made as the old ones stainless steel item but it still looks substantial enough for everyday use. It keeps accurate time as you would expect from a Quartz movement. Will have to wait & see how long the battery lasts. The original battery on the previous watch lasted five years but I never got more than two years from replacement batteries.Only slight downside is that the luminosity isnt as good as the earlier watch. The hands are narrower & the luminous strips in the hands are so thin its really difficult to see where they are relative to the numerals which are bright. For this reason I have only given it a four star rating. Otherwise an excellent watch for the money particularly if you want a lightweight item & I would recommend it.

casio quartz titanium watch
Chose this watch for its simplistic design, all the numbers are very clear and it glows in the dark so it is easy to see. I also like having the day of the week as well as the date. Very light weight watch.

Generally Quite Good
Very nice watch. Not too big and not too small. It's incredibly light for its size, which is good in this case, and it seems to offer decent value for the price. In some ways, it isn't too different from similarly styled Timex watches I've owned over the years except that it is a little more expensive, a little more precise and refined, perhaps, and bares the "Seiko" name. Two things that disappointed me were the watch band and the lack of a dial light. The band is sturdy but not quite a nice as the very similar band that came with my last Timex. The lack of a dial light is just odd for an otherwise well thought out and finely executed watch.
