What is the rcovery wading for

Amazon says they cannot ship to my address which is a typcal mid-western street address. Why will they ship me rocket engines and not the wadding?

I always have use good Ole TP. Just don't overdo it ,I have seen a few times that too much wadding was in the tube and it didn't allow for the parachute to deploy

I got this stuff for the first time today. There were about 15 two-foot long sheets instead of 75. Is that normal? Are you supposed to cut it up?

yes, tear it up when you go to stuff it in your rocket, wad each piece to take up room and fill the rocket with 1 to 2 inches to protect the recovery device. If you look real close you will see it had cuts to tear off smaller sheets.

It works and is convenient

You can make your own fireproof wadding, but this is immediately available. It's in a nice pack that tears into squares on perforated edges, like toilet paper.I use 4 or 5 sheets per rocket and have not had any significant blow through melting the parachutes or anything.
