Bought this for my apartment front door so that people could wipe their feet before entering. It worked fine until the rainy season came. Our porch area is mostly covered but if the rain comes in at an angle, it does reach the mat. Living in CA, it doesn't even rain very hard, but all the water that did come down was immediately absorbed by the mat. Initially I thought this was a good thing. But I was leaving the house (after just being at home for a long time... COVID... :p) I stepped on the mat only to find that it was super squishy... Every step taken on the mat would cause all the water to ooze out... It essentially functions as a sponge. Because of the water absorbency, it began growing stuff on the bottom. Now that its warmer, I just put it out in the sun and flip it so that everything will be dried out and hopefully anything growing with die.If you have a completely covered porch area, I'm sure this will work perfectly for you.(If this was helpful please click the Helpful button, that would help me out a lot. These mats are awesome! They literally attract the dirt off your shoes just by walking on them. I bought 2 jumbo and 1 regular. To clean, I throw them in the washer, 1 at a time, by themselves and run thru the rince cycle. Take it out and hang to dry.

I use these at my back door because the dogs will go there and if you don't take them out right away, they sometimes just take a wiz right on the mat. But, one of the best benefits of these is that you can hose them down in the yard on a sunny day and they're clean and dry quickly and can be put back right away. I use one under the cat litter box and it works great... just shake and put back. I use one under the food and water dishes... no water on the floor and the water is trapped in the relief of the mat, same with dog food... it gets caught up in the mat and I no longer have to vacuum every day or sweep. I can just take the mat outside and beat it a few times and put it back... and it looks great. These are great barriers against water and messes (like cat and dog foots). They also are no slip and I also use on on the wheelchair ramp at one of my doors... now my man doesn't slip if he's going outside with his cane... and he gets great traction is his motorized chair. Useful for so many things... I cut one up that had gotten worn down so that I could take it on the dog's ramp going up to the bed and their little stairs at the other bed... the dogs feel secure and these can be tacked down... even stapled... works great in so many places.

This is a great doormat. It doesn't slide around when we wipe our shoes off on it. It seems pretty durable for our high traffic household. The picture is of about a month's worth of use and it still looks new even though it's a little dirty.

I purchased this rug with the hope that it would be perfect to put in front of our door that leads to the garage. Upon opening the packed I immediately noticed a terrible odor. The texture of the rug is strange as well, it's all rubber. This might work outside in a garage far away from a home so you cannot smell the strong chemical odor it admits.

I placed this mat by the front door, the flooring is tiles. I would clean the tiles on a regular basis and would sometimes forget to let it dry before placing back the mat. I didn't realize that the back part of the mat stuck on the semi-wet tile and when I tried to remove the mat for cleaning, the backing ripped leaving a hole halfway, but not through the mat. SO BE CAREFUL not to have it stick to the flooring.

A day after I put this mat down in front of our door we had a hard rain with blowing winds that actually came in under our ten foot covered porch. When the storm ended I went outside and picked up the mat to find it full of water. A quick shake sent the water flying. Since I was having friends over that day I was concerned that as they stepped onto the mat and entered my home they would track in water. However, this mat was dry within an hour! If I had purchased any other type of mat it would have taken hours to dry.

The rug overall is great quality, however I can not use it because it sits too high for my front door to open and close. We were looking for a mat that would sit inside the door to collect snow, slush and water. This rug may do that but I won't know because I can't use it.
