I was very impressed when I pulled this out of the box, the brush chrome look look was very nice and it was a lot slimmer than my previous model Inspiron, this is a well built laptop. After firing it up, running all of the Windows Updates (Including Windows 8.1 update) and then manually removing all of the bloatware it runs like a champ. Very good deal for the price.

Bought this for my son last Christmas. He had a hard time getting use to the touch screen but now he loves it.

don't buy this product!I purchased this laptop Friday after Thanksgiving.... seemed like a good laptop, i5 etc. However - it is SLOWER than my husband's 3 year old laptop!Can't believe how slow it is... you sit there waiting an entire minute or minute+30 seconds for it to do something or for it to load a page on the internet - while my hubby's laptop zips along on our internet (yes, we have the premium faster internet) - and my Mac zips along as well.Wish I could return it.guess I will sell it somewhere - to someone who doesn't mind a bit of a slow machine.

The lap works fine, only problem in the features it claimed to be back lit, it is NOT BACK LIT! Had I known that I would not have purchased this model!

Hard drive error with 3 months left in the warranty! I have to send it back to Dell. I will be without the device or 10 days. Touch screen is cool, but when a problem arises (Disk error) then you have to wonder about rethinking the next purchase. Perhaps an SSD instead of an HDD would make it a great machine.

scored a deal on this laptop on amazon. had to be patient for the price to come down as it was going up and down almost a 100 bucks during Black Friday. Now about the laptop, it really is a neat pc, fits my family needs of basic browsing, emails and MS office tasks. The touch screen is nice and responsive. I would buy it again if I end getting a good deal.

Good computer... but does not have keyboard backlight.

When I got this computer it was fine for like a week. then when I'm on it sometimes makes a sound like the fan in rubbing against something and my touch screen sometimes doesn't work. It also is petty fast at first then starts slowing down from there and I've barely put anything on it.
