StoreYourBoard Skateboard & Longboard Wall Mount Rack, Holds 3 Boards

Does as it requires. Nothing special or severe. 4 wall screws and 4 fat, white, plastic anchors for drywall supplied (if needed). Brackets are made of plastic, but stable. Note: easy enough to install that I had my 13 yr old son install it himself with a leveler, philips screwdriver nub, and a little guidance. He did end up braking the tips of two of the anchors because he tried using a electric drill with phillips screw bit. Luckily I was able to save the broken anchors (back half) and rescrew them in the existing grooves! LOL....What can I say, kids got to get the experience. I have 1 longboard (bottom shelf), a skateboard (middle shelf), and a penny board (flipped upside on top shelf because the space between the two brackets are set to the space to fit between the standard skateboard trucks, the median of the three boards). Bike helmet, bike chain, and 2 jump ropes also hang between the holes just like the picture! The mounting brackets were packaged in just a plastic bag, but was placed in a bigger box because I also ordered two Allen Bike Wall Mounts. All three mounts look great on the wall!!! Oh yeah, comes with instructions and a sticker.

This skateboard rack has been great for organizing my boards and saving space in my room. Before buying it, I had three skateboards sitting in the corner, and this made everything look much cleaner and more intentional. It fits nicely on the wall, holds the boards well, and feels sturdy once installed. Overall, I am very happy with how it looks and functions. One thing I noticed is that the material is not aluminum like I originally expected from the product images. It seems to be made from a hard plastic instead. That was not a problem for me, because it still feels stable and strong enough for my skateboards, but it is worth mentioning for anyone expecting metal construction. Once mounted properly, it does not feel flimsy or unstable. The main installation note is that you will want to use a level when hanging it. The rack uses separate brackets rather than having a middle bar connecting everything, so you have to line them up yourself. I actually think that design could be a benefit if you want to hang longer boards or adjust the spacing, but it does make careful installation more important. Overall, it is a simple, effective, space-saving rack that does exactly what I needed it to do. Good purchase, and I will buy again if I get more boards!

Pros. - All the reviews are correct, it does seem flimsy when you receive the package BUT.... it does get pretty solid if installed correctly. Super easy to install good directions, even though you really shouldn’t need them. Seems like it will hold far more weight than 2 boards and a scooter and helmet! Can’t go wrong, super light weight and strong! Shot out for sending a sticker! Awesome bonus. Cons.- although I really liked the supplied wall anchors (which is a pro!) you only get four, eight would have made it a 5 star review! Some will complain about the price but that’s because it wasn’t their idea, it is what it is! Overall very happy and strongly recommended, Great work StoreYourBoard !

This is a great display for my skateboards and gear. I didn’t think it would be as cool as it is but it’s super nice and functional. Holds my two boards and has room for one more. I’m also able to hang my helmet and pads from it. Although when I received I wasn’t too thrilled but once hung up it’s been a useful addition.

Surprisingly good for a thin piece of injection molded plastic when mounted correctly and firmly to the wall. Works well. Mine are currently holding a longboard, skateboard, and Ripstik. Holes let you hang a helmet or two and whatever pads or wrist guards will fit in them. A few mounting tips... I recommend mounting at least one into a stud to help carry the weight. The only drawback to this 2 piece design is that if you mount both on studs, they will be too far apart for a standard skateboard. Use good heavy duty molly-style wall anchors if mounting on hollow drywall. The ones that come with it are decent but not sure I'd trust them to the full weight of 3 boards. I don't mind the boards falling, but I do mind if they hit my car on the way down. You can also attach them both to a single piece of plywood that can then be easily attached to the wall into the studs. The mounting holes are also perfectly spaced for 1" pegboard if you use large enough screws to grip the board holes and the pegboard is anchored well to the wall. The plastic racks are a little flimsy feeling before they are attached, but when properly installed, feel very solid. A little pricey but I'd probably buy another set if I needed more storage. They look great.

I bought this rack to store my 2 longboards (one very heavy electric ~25 pounds, one average pusher) and hang my helmet and jacket. The description claims that it has a 40 pound capacity so I figured it was exactly what I was looking for. Now that I have it in hand, I unfortunately have to say I probably would not buy it again except that I couldn't find anything similar in a comparable price range. One huge con is how the boards rest - see below. Pros: -Hanging it was easy. They provide the anchors/screws, you just need a level and a screwdriver. -You can choose the distance between the 2 brackets, so you can accommodate virtually any length of boards. Cons: -The brackets are not very deep. My wheels rest on the wall! This ends up being a good thing though because the board decks don't sit fully in their slot. If the wheels weren't acting like bumpers, I'm afraid the heavier board would actually not balance and be prone to falling - which could be extremely dangerous and/or costly. I'm going to have to put something on the on the wall to prevent damage/dirt from the wheels as well. -The arms of the brackets that the boards rest on are wobbly. They don't flex vertically (even under the weight of my heavy board, so that's a good thing) but do wobble side-to-side quite a bit. It's not confidence inspiring.

Purchased this because I wanted more floor space in my room and I have two boards. I was able to put this up on my wall with ease, instructions are pretty basic meaning it tells you what you need and what to do. Simple product, simple instructions. Comes with 4 screws, which is enough, but I personally put two more screws on for safe measure(and because one of the screws ended up wobbly in the wall). It's a sturdy product made of plastic and I'm sure it will last for a long time. If you want more reviews, people actually reviewed this product in StoreYourBoard's seller ratings. It's rated well by other customers on their page. Purchased February,2012. Oct2012 Update: Looks exactly same as before. Hasn't moved behind the screws which was one of my first concerns when mounting on the wall. 0 problems whatsoever. Aug2013 Update: Last update because I'm very satisfied with the product. I've been taking boards off and putting boards on it since I reviewed this product. It has held up since the beginning and still is. Pretty damn happy with this purchase.

Exactly what we were looking for to store our skate boards in the garage, although it’s plastic, it’s very sturdy once installed on the wall and can easily hold the Weight of 2 skate boards and a ripsurf
