I was a little skeptical about buying this mat because I tend to read the 1* and 2* reviews before buying a product like this. Most of the reviews will tell you that this is too thin, it's flimsy, and it doesn't stay flat. Every one of these statements, I found to be false. The mat arrived in a tightly rolled box and it was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. When I removed it from the box, I found that the material was pretty thick and well made. There weren't any cracks or anything of that nature to be found on the mat and once i laid it down on the floor, it slowly started to flatten out. In less than 30 minutes from the time I took it out of the box, placed it on the floor, positioned it, and finally put my chair on top of it, I had a perfectly flat chair covering the spot where that one splinter was constantly stabbing me in my foot. Overall, this is a great mat and is priced reasonably well for the size.

I cant be happier with this. Exactly what I desired. I ordered the 59"x47" size and it is PERFECT size as it covers the floor space for ample chair space AND covers all four legs of my desk which I wanted. It grips floor so well and indeed is VERY transparent with a no odor. It also does have a slight texture that is great for traction control and smooth glide. Lastly it seriously repells dirt/water beads up etc. I cant even place my house slippers on it without dirt markings so forget about your outside shoes. That may sound bad but it's amazing because it brushes right off versus absorbing which over time would mean a nasty mat. I put 4 star for "lightweight" merely because my size being so big was quite heavy in box/rollout but once on ground its thin& flat. Great buy! Check your desired sizing for the space and get one!

Like others we put it in the sun and let it be overnight. It flattens right out. Quality is there. It looks nice. It will be easy to clean as we are using it under the kitty's litter box :) I would buy it again. Love the frosted look and the glue bottom. You stick it down, no special process to it, just take it out of the box and lay it down and the sticky side holds it. It did not wreck my floor, at all. I love that it does not shift. Nothing not good about it.

We needed a flat hardwood floor protector for my at-home office area during COVID-19 quarantine. This is exactly what I needed: thin, lays flat, works perfectly. The surface has just the slightest amount of pattern so it isn't slippery. I said to my husband that this is an example of when sometimes the "cheaper" item is the best solution. More expensive floor protectors may be thicker, but that wouldn't have worked for our needs (didn't want a "lip" to trip over, as my office is in a cubby off a hallway), and more expensive models take some time to lay flat. This one quickly uncurled and is perfect. It is so great, we purchased a second one for my husband when he started WFH.

This product is very easy to see through, if that's what you're looking for. However, it's not very thick so a standard office chair will dent it very easily, making it incredibly hard to roll wheels on. I only weigh like 100 pounds and every time I try to move the chair a little, I have to use all my weight to get it out of the dent. The whole pad also seems to have shifted from where I first placed it just from a few days of me using it. Pretty disappointed. Definitely worth paying a little more for a better product.

I purchased 3 of these floor mats to protect our laminate flooring. 2 of them were used on roller chairs for 2 computers and the other on a roller chair in my art studio. The fit and size of these mats are perfect. The only reason why I did not give a 5-star rating was that the mat slides around after a few hours of use and has to be manually adjusted and put back where you intended it to be. What SHOULD have been done was to "mold in" little textured items under EACH corner to act as friction devices to prevent slippage.

The mat is functional, clear and kind of keeps the chair from over rolling. However the mat itself slides on the hard surface floor and needs constant straightening.

Item arrived rolled up in a box, I unwrapped and unrolled it immediately while it was still warm and soft (being spent all morning in a hot delivery truck). It unrolled almost flat, with just a small hump on the most rolled edge. The hump is so small it doesn't get into the way and almost unnoticeable. The mat is transparent and almost invisible if you don't look too close. Dust and debris do cling to it, so it should be cleaned more often it you want more transparency.
