Satisfied
This is a very nice jacket for the price. I'm 5'7" and weigh 150lbs. I ordered a small. The jacket has a general fit, it's roomy but not overly large. Would be perfect for winter if wearing a sweater or a flannel underneath. I would order to your typical size as you normally buy.I was surprised that the left arm comes with a loop spot for hook patches and a zipper! Reminds me of Bomber jackets which is cool! The kangaroo pocket has a zipper as well the pockets for hands. The jacket is 100% polyester both on the outside and inside. It appears the inside has a much tighter thread spacing as feels cooler to the touch opposed to the outside. It's definitely water resistant on the outside, has a good amount of water beading though some did leak in as seen with the darker spots BUT it did not leak into the arm so I assume this will hold well during the rain.

Nice
I have a few of these Mil-Tec Anoraks which I received a few years back in camo patterns. Ordered this because I liked the style, but didn't want to wear camo all the time. One improvement Mil-Tec has made is the size rating are better than they used to be. I usually wear a 2XL because I want room for a sweater or heavy shirt to wear underneath. With the oldier Mil-Tec Anoraks I needed a 3XL to be allowed to wear large clothing underneath, but with this one the 3XL is a true 3XL. So this one is pretty big one me. Just FYI so you order the proper size. Also, the older Anoraks I own from Mil-Tec have a fleece lining, this one does not, to my disappointment. But it seems to be a quality piece, and should make a good wind breaker.

I am a good size man so I ordered the 3X
I am a good size man so I ordered the 3X. I have worn anoraks for many winters as an outer garment over sweaters/fleece and have always been comfortable well below freezing. It is pretty much wind proof. I have not yet worn it in driving rain but so far it has been pretty water resistant. It has a poly lining that slips easily over a polar fleece jacket. It really fits well over heavier under layers. Not tight or binding. I am not sure how durable the wrist cuff elastic will be though. We will find out. If I could change anything on the anorak, it would be to add an easy access zipper to the left side to make it even easier to put on/take off.

you will look like a your in a scene from Heroes of Telemark-enjoy ...
The fit of this anorak was an unexpected surprise as I am 6"7 and 255 lbs and have plenty of length in sleeves and body in the xxxl size. It is a traditional outerlayer for Nordic style skiing and other winter activities. The interior of the garment is made with a silky material providing smooth interaction with layers. I would not wear it in down pouring rain but wind and snow is the ticket. Yes, you will look like a your in a scene from Heroes of Telemark-enjoy the weather!!

NOT FLEECE LINED, NOT FLEECE ANYWERE!!!
The word fleece appears in the description, yet there is no fleece. The polyester lining, represented as "fleece" is just an ordinary satin finish fabric. IT'S NOT FLEECE! I gave it some stars, as it's a handsome windbreaker, of a military style. But if you're looking for FLEECE, or anything other than shiny polyester, ignore this misrepresentation (or "lie"):"They have a soft fleece lining for extra comfort and warmth as well"Because (and let me repeat). THERE IS NO FLEECE IN THIS JACKET!

Still in great shape!!!
I bought this jacket a few years ago (forgot about doing a review) and it still looks and feels as good today as when I bought it. It is a great functioning jacket, especially on chilly nights or in the rain.

I love this anorak
I love this anorak. It fits wonderfully and I can wear a variety of other clothing under it without feeling like a stuffed sock. Very pleased with the quality so far. Now I'm waiting for some really cold and wet weather to really test it out

Mil-Tec Combat Anorak.
This is the second or third summer combat anorak I have now bought from Mil-Tec over the years and in my opinion this is the best one yet. I would prefer a 4xl coat (this is 3xl) but this fits fine, just the right sleeve length so I can move my arms ok, and it covers my butt so I don't get a cold back. It now comes with a pocket on the left sleeve with a patch for putting badges on as well which is handy, and it looks better made as well. I know it says its a summer anorak but I wear mine all year round as long as its not to wet or cold. Another great coat.

good buy
Very large fit (which I like). 3 xl is more like a 4 xl. Nice feel to it and it keeps the wind out. Side pockets for hands as well as kangaroo pouch. 450g weight.

Perfect rain coat
Very good waterproof, fit's a little large but that's a bonus as you can stick a hoodie or jumper underneath for when it's cold. good quality, would recommend.
