WEDGiTS Building Board, Dual Sided

I purchased this green Building Board for Wedgits for my children because they love building Wedgits and putting things together. It's a great attition to the Wedgits blocks because it gives them a place to build taller creations directly on it. I'll admit that even I often get a kick out of building a tower myself with Wedgits too! Highly recommend Wedgits and this building board for anyone who wants something that your child will be able to invest hours of playing into!

Misleading main picture. I thought for the price point that I would receive everything pictured in the main picture (minus the child of course), but they are only selling the green board. I felt the picture was misleading in that aspect.

I purchased these for my granddaughter who is 3and she loves them. We play together and Widgets make learning creative and fun.

I know that this board extends what one can build with the Wedgit toy, so I included it when I got the Wedgit for a 2-year-old. He, however, thought this was a great big cookie cutter, and played with it all by itself for quite some time, exploring the holes and the shaped edges. So, it was an immediate hit, as well as being a facilitator of good things to come. (It IS hard plastic, and pretty big, so, if your young one is still into throwing, it might be best to have this in the "supervised play" box for now.)

This is a little bit big to store.As others have stated, for most play applications of Wedgits, a support platform is absolutely unnecessary. If you find a good price and have the space for it, there's nothing wrong with it. It's just... Not needed.

I bought these last year for my 6 year-old nephew as a Christmas present, and he is still playing with them a year later. He loves trying to stack and balance them different ways. They are very sturdy toys, and have stood up to being knocked over by his 3 year-old brother.

For some reason, I didn't realize that this was only one piece (I thought there were two). Seems overpriced for one little piece of plastic that isn't really necessary. I probably wouldn't have bought it if I had realized unless I'd found it on sale for around $8.

School loved them

If you're thinking of, or have already purchased the wedgits pack - I feel that this is a must. I have purchased one and will later purchase another. It provides a great base and allows you to build more confidently, as the base provides a sturdy foundation.I would definitely suggest purchasing this if you buy a set of wedgits. Although it's not essential, it just makes way for a better building surface.
