If your looking for a lot of details on how to improve your long range shooting laid out as a text book. What to do and not to do. This is not the book. This is more of a book that relates the authors experience in long range shooting through story form. It is an interesting read and does provide some instruction in the art of long range shooting. It also has some good information on which rifles, ammo, and optics you need and ballistics info.My assessment.

This has been a very good reference book for most of my students. Has made long range shooting techniques a lot easier to teach.

This book was ok but really didn't add enough information to be called a "2nd Edition".

Disappointing at best. My sentiments echo those of the majority of raters. I bought the paperback version without checking the reviews and that was a serious error on my part. Reloading chapter is especially weak and information on optics and reticles and even rifles leaves a lot unmentioned. Didn't learn much from this one. My recommendation is to spend your money on something other than this book.

Honestly, I am a gun nut and so this was an easy sale for me but this book was a disappointment as it is mostly a rehash of version one. There are MANY better books out there,

It is just shooting everywhere, barely overlooking many aspects of long range shooting. I will give it to someone who's a begginner in the long range shooting world.

Very satisfied with this book and will be a big help for me getting setup
