big tub, great addition to pantry, longer term storage (even w/ shorter best buy date)
It's a big tub of peanut butter. I got it on sale, so I anticipated a short "best by" date. Also, I am noticing this on a lot of foods in general from any location. Anyway, I acquired this in 04/2022 with a late May 2022 date. Again, this was expected (from warehouse). Main thing is that it wasn't one of the recalled Skippy peanut butter lots. It isn't (phew). Will be put into rotation sooner over later, but it will be fine for a long time unopened. Glad to add it to my pantry.
