Saves calling a locksmith
I havent written an Amazon review in god knows how long. But the negative reviews this item has is unjust. I have a 1284X vic and it works perfectly fine. I keep this extra in my wallet as an emergency. Don't read the other reviews. It's fulfilled by Amazon, so if it doesn't work, just return it.

Fastest way to throw away money. ABSOLUTE CRAP
Perhaps this opened the sellers ford, but no one else's will work with this key. At Police Impound tried it on 25 (YES 25) Fords, Fleet Vehicles and varying years... NOT A SINGLE ONE OPENED... ABSOLUTE JUNK

you can unlock police cars because they basically all use the same key might wanna think about that amazon

Doesnt work
Havent started or opened any "fleet" vehicles.Went to a fleet action and walked around tryn it out on the cars listed that use the H57 ignition in the approproate years, nothing. Dont waste your money, your better off with a set of jigglers.

I've tried this thing on 4 or 5 different taxis, can't get a single door unlocked, don't waste your money.
