You can't go wrong with Simple Human!
Perfect for my sink and space. It looks great. It keeps my dish brush and my dish sponge with the handle out of the way and convenient for when I need them. They used to just sit in the corner down inside the sink and food and water, etc. would get all under them and the brush would get messed up from sitting there. The sponge head would get gross and wear out faster. Now I have this neat little caddy that actually holds both of my handled tools and also a couple of regular dish sponges. The holder for the dish brush is actually big enough to hold both my dish brush and dish sponge with handles. It has an extended bottom and they both sit down in there just fine. It keeps them out of the dirty water, etc. when they don't need to be and allows them to dry thoroughly in between uses. This has 4 good quality suction cups, which I applied a little Vaseline type ointment to, and also gave my sink a good cleaning before installing it, and they are sticking just fine...I've tested and tugged at it and that thing is not coming down! I like this one much better than all the other ones out there that I've seen because it looks great, and Simple Human is good quality, and the holder for the dish brush is not just a hole like most of the other caddies where the handle just goes all the way thru and sits on the bottom of the sink. It holds the dish brush completely inside the caddy and actually big enough for two with fat handles! I love my Simple Human caddy! It was the perfect choice for my kitchen! Just to note, I have a large and deep stainless steel sink and I installed it right at the top just under where the counter sticks out. It holds there just fine with the metal support thing that extends onto the counter. The counter is not flush with the sink and it still fits and sits there just fine. Thanks Simple Human for a great product. I have one of their kitchen trash cans, too! You can't go wrong with Simple Human!

A great device
This is a great device. It holds two sponges for two different purposes and I can toss silverware to dry quickly. It secures very well and is pretty much out of the way. I do recommend it.

If your cups won't suck, read this review โ
Here is a life hack for suction cup problems that will work on this caddy and also for any suction cups stick to mirrors or glass. I learned it last year after searching the internet because I LOVED this "simple human brushed sink caddy" Simplehuman Sink Caddy, Brushed Stainless Steel but it no longer would stay up. This is a larger caddy that looks great so I was determined to find a solution. When I found the hack I was dubious for a couple of reasons, but those concerns faded. Here's the hack > Take just the smallest dab of any Vaseline type product on your fingertip and simply rub a very thin film of it over the suction cup before adhering to surface. The suction cup can be moist when you do this or bone dry. Both work. Here were some things that came to mind when I first read about it. 1. I was pretty sure I have not had any Vaseline in my home for, well, decades (kind of sad to say - doh). The original hack I read stated only Vaseline so I figured I was dead in the water because I am too lazy to have gone out to get some to try this. Then I read a comment from someone that said 'any lube will work'. Sadly, I don't have any of that either but it did get me thinking that I should take a peek under the bathroom sink and in the drawers. It was there that I found some CVS advanced healing ointment that's like aquphor, which is greasy. It solved the issue instantly! I immediately remembered this magnification mirror my wife has with a suction cup in the bathroom that keeps falling off and while I had some lube on my finger I did it to her little mirror as well. Instantly I could tell it was not going anywhere and in fact it has been sucking for almost 3 months now. 2. I thought it would be a greasy mess that was more trouble than it was worth. It turns out that it is not ANY hassle at all. One simple application of something greasy will permanently solve the issue. Meaning, if you never needed to remove the suction cup it will stay affixed for a lifetime. And when I did remove the caddy to run through the dishwasher it went right back to sucking with a dab of goo. The mirror in the bathroom has never been removed since that first application of grease because it adhered air tight so cleaning around it is all that is needed. It's like anything else that's permanently mounted now. It handles normal touching and adjusting of the mirror with no problem. This is a little mirror that I could make fall off the mirror just be staring at it! If the star took too long I could blow it across the room in a second. The little mirror fell literally every day for months. My wife and I began to joke about it that the other should fix it which turned into a test of wills. We would both replace it to the mirror when we saw it down, but never speak of it. You have to know us, but this was all in good fun. Anyways, the point is that since putting the ointment on the suction cup it has performed exactly like it is glued on there - but it's not - which is good! 3. I figured that if it did keep it from falling it would just slide around. From what I remembered, Vaseline + friction made things move better. As it turns out, there is ZERO sliding around of the suction cups on the surfaces. Maybe it is because there are several points of stability that took over for the suction cups so those elements are doing fine in stopping the caddy from sliding right/left whenever touched. Perhaps it is because of whatever physics or chemistry that is involved in the Vaseline making the suction cups adhere. The only thing I care about is that it is an amazing hack and it turns out there are no real drawbacks in practice. It's time for a call to action, people! Go fix your caddy & every other suction cup in your life!! Then we must spread the word! This malady can't be allowed to survive past the 21st century!! This conspiracy CAN be halted with your help! For the sake of all our grand kids and their future sink caddy dreams, you must grab the ointment!

The Best Sink Brush and Sponge Holder No Doubt
This is the second one of these I purchased, got one for my mom several months ago, so when I got back to my house I realized I did not want to live in a sink that had sponges and brushes lying around. It's just wonderful to get your sink more organized and clear room to make washing dishes easier. The item itself works absolutely perfectly. The four suction cups grip the side of my sink very well, no problem so far with slippage or falling off. There are two slots for sponges, one is higher than the other so they are easier to grab since they are not level with each other. But the thing I love most about this is the brush slot. I would rather use a brush to wash dishes, so a sponge holder will just not cut it for me. Having a place to put my brush is awesome, I just finish cleaning and drop it into it's holder. The best part is that the brush is the one item that makes the biggest mess around the sink, leaving those wet soapy areas that then need to be cleaned. The bottom of the item has holes so any excess water drips into the sink and does not make a mess. It does not take up that much space in the sink, and if you have a large sink you should not even think of this issue. If you like things neat and organized you must purchase this product. It's fantastic. I rely on fellow customer reviews for my own purchases so I take reviewing items very seriously. If this review was helpful please give me a thumbs up on it.

How I made it stick
An earlier writer wrote that putting Vaseline (which is oil-based) on each of the four suction cups made them hold onto the sink "like glue." Not having any Vaseline handy, I put on healthy globs of a water-based gel with about the same goopiness ("viscosity") and that worked likewise. The caddy is now held to the (slightly inward-sloping but flat) side of the ceramic sink as if by a strong glue and feels very snug, tight and fast. I'd guess this is mostly because the goop makes a truly airtight seal, so, when the cups get tugged on (by weight or whatever), the pressure of the airless goop inside drops and the hold gets even tighter. So far it has held rock-steady for about two months. The bracket (which indeed can easily be taken off and has two height settings) does seem to bear some of the weight, but I'd say much less than half. I think it might also be there to take the brunt of downward jolts. The caddy holds a heavy bottle of dish soap along with a long brush and Scotch-brite pad with ease and truly tidies up the sink area. Given it's in a big, full-sized sink, there's still no lack of room for washing and such, though with smaller sinks the caddy could take up enough that it might not be so worthwhile to some. I took out the (sturdy) plastic insert, so as to fit the dish soap. Housing seems to to be true stainless steel throughout, looks very good, drains into the sink, seems like a thoughtful build to me and does the job. So, given a big sink and household goop in the cups, I'm giving this five stars, keeping in mind that without the goop trick, I'd more than likely have sent it back to Amazon straight off and with short shrift.

Roomy yet not in my way - very pleased!
This sink caddy is very well designed. It is roomy (I am attaching a photo showing that it holds 4 of my cleaning "instruments" - two pads and two brushes) yet slim enough not to be in the way. It has holes in the bottom of the caddy so the cleaning pads drain into sink. The hanging mechanism is very good. The hanger rests on the lip of the sink, and the suction caps on the back get stuck to the side of the sink. The instruction say that the hanger is adjustable and can be squeezed to change its height, but I did not have to do it (it was perfect with height it arrived). It is possible to remove the hanging wire completely if you prefer, and attach the caddy with just four suction cups. To adjust the height you would remove the wire and use a different set of holes in the back of the caddy. The caddy is made out of rust-proof material, but of course, I have not had a chance to verify that since I only had it for a few weeks. Update 10/19/2012: It has been over 1.5 years since I purchased the caddy. No rust! Dimensions: 6.5" width x 2" depth x 3.25" height The caddy extends away from the side of the sink depth+suction cups, which is 2.5 inches. The lip of the hanger is 2". The height of the hanger is adjustable, set to 2" on arrival. I have been using the caddy for a few weeks now and I am very pleased. It is convenient, my kitchen sink is more organized, and it has not been in my way once. I placed it at the far right corner (I am right-handed) as shown on the attached photo. This is a nice little gadget and I recommend it. Update: 10/19/2012 It has been 1.5 years since the purchase. I am still very pleased with the caddy. The suction cups hold really well, the caddy does not fall off. I only occasionally remove it to clean the sink behind it. No rust.

Awesome Caddy, Not Having Problems Sticking to My Sink Like Others...
For months my wife has been complaining to me that when I do dishes, I always leave the sponges and brushes in the sink. According to her, I'm making them get moldy and get them dirty when dirty dishes pile up in the sink. So after about the 50th time of her complaining about it (I do admit that our sponges get that nasty mold smell quicker than normal), I told her I'd find a solution. That solution is a sink caddy that I remembered seeing somewhere a long time ago. After looking through various sink caddies on Amazon, I finally settled on this one. This one was the nicest looking one and looked to accommodate my situation. You see, we have 1 sponge and two of the long-handled brush/scrubbers. All the ones I saw on Amazon were either cheap (plastic), catered to sponges only, or did not fit brushes well (according to other reviewers). This one had the most reviews at the time with the best positive ratio (4-stars). This caddy is simply awesome. The stainless steel matches my kitchen sink and the holes in the bottom helps drain any water collected on my brushes/sponges to drip down into the sink. What's extra nice is that for long brushes, the bottom brush holder "extends out" as it shows in the picture. The sponge compartment is split into 2 sections with a divider. While you could put 2 sponges in each section, I use it for 1 sponge and the drain stopper for my sink. This divider is completely removable if you wanted to use the entire space for something else (say dishwashing liquid). I did read other reviewers having problems of the suction cups sticking to the sink. I'm not sure if those are bad suction cups but mine are sticking fine to the side of my sink. They seem heavy duty and I've yet to have the caddy fall off my sink. I've made no modifications to it and it is working wonders. I honestly have no complaints about this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants to organize their sink.
