Simple, but great
We always do fun advent calendars for our kids, our 17 year old didn't want any of the toys etc. this year. He loves history geography, this was the PERFECT advent calendar for him!!! It isn't much larger than a sheet of paper, very simple design. Similar to a shiny cardstock/thin cardboard. The facts were fun and different. He told me repeatedly how much he enjoyed it.

Great educational toy as well as Advent Calendar
I really like this Advent Calendar and purchased it for my great-nephew. Both fun and educational and his moms will love it, too!

Cute, could be better
Nice design, quality material. A bit ovepriced. The info included for various countries was marginally interesting; could have been more detailed for the price.

Fun and Enlightening
I used this in my 2nd grade class room during Christmas Around the World. It was a huge hit. We read the fact then located the country on the map. So many possibilities. I will add this calendar each year now that I found this gem.

An amazing alternative to calendars that give gifts or candy
We didn't want to do daily candies or toys for our advent calendar, and I was really excited for this. I was a little worried our 3 year old would be under-enthused to open a little box just to read some words every morning, but honestly he was stoked on it. Every morning we looked at the map and pointed to the continent, talked about the location of the tab, and learned the name of the featured country. I didn't expect him to be so excited, but he loved it and learned about new countries and traditions, very cool!

It was ok for our purpose
For my 3years old who just wants to open windows, this was fine. But, if you want this for educational purpose, I am not sure this is the one for you. Do people in Mexico play piñata on Christmas?

Love
Amazing advent calendar. We love opening it and reading the facts. It arrived 5 days prior to the date it was. So that was great!

Was expecting more
I read the description, I knew it didn't contain gifts or chocolate but I expected so much more. It's basically a pice of a3 cardboard, folded with tiny doors and very little detail.I'd expected higher quality paper and maybe as much detail as a children's book in the information considering the price. We can buy the equivalent of this at the local $2 shop.Really beware buying this. It's pretty terrible.

Not fact checked and offensive
I am a Canadian that lives in the Canadian Arctic and was totally shcocked to see Dec 2nds “fact” about Canada!First off the word used to describe the festival is not an actual thing and they used the word Eskimo a derogatory term to describe Inuit. So disgusted that this misinformation is being taught to children
