Haute Decor Advent Calendar - Christmas Around the World

We always do fun advent calendars for our kids, our 17 year old didn't want any of the toys etc. this year. He loves history geography, this was the PERFECT advent calendar for him!!! It isn't much larger than a sheet of paper, very simple design. Similar to a shiny cardstock/thin cardboard. The facts were fun and different. He told me repeatedly how much he enjoyed it.

We didn't want to do daily candies or toys for our advent calendar, and I was really excited for this. I was a little worried our 3 year old would be under-enthused to open a little box just to read some words every morning, but honestly he was stoked on it. Every morning we looked at the map and pointed to the continent, talked about the location of the tab, and learned the name of the featured country. I didn't expect him to be so excited, but he loved it and learned about new countries and traditions, very cool!

I really like this Advent Calendar and purchased it for my great-nephew. Both fun and educational and his moms will love it, too!

Nice design, quality material. A bit ovepriced. The info included for various countries was marginally interesting; could have been more detailed for the price.

This is not worth even $5. One sentence per day. Cute I guess. But I'm pissed I payed so much for this.

This Advent Calendar is something I keep telling all my friends to buy their children! Every day my 10 year old son couldn’t wait to open every day to reveal another country & it’s Christmas tradition. He enjoyed learning everyday & couldn't wait to share with his classmates. I’m keeping it for every Christmas to come as we all loved reading & learning about different traditions as a family together.

Every year I give out Advent calendars. One of my grown children, remembering one I gave him, specifically asked if I had ever found one like it again. I looked and did find this one with Christmas customs from around the world. He would like to share it with his children. So happy!
