is Gerber diesel made in the usa?

I read somewhere that some of the cheaper Gerber tools are made in China. Like the Bear Grills junk. I believe these are made there as well. I have a slightly older pair of M400 sport and the quality difference is nite and day. These are are made a lot cheaper. Go with the M600 or M400 they are made a lot better then these cheap feeling pieces of crap. So disappointed with these. They are still better than most of the other multitools out there but junk compared to the M600 or M400 which by the way have made in the USA stamped in them. Unlike these.

Knives are way better on the rebar, and general tool selection is better. But the file is better on the diesel, and, if you're like me, you'll use the pliers the most. Like everyone else said that's one handed on the Gerber, and that's why I carry the Gerber most often. Knife on the Gerber is crap though

Where is this made now? (today is March 31, 2014) Amazon claims it is made in USA, is it?

Purchased on Amazon Apr 2015... Package states " Assembled in USA of USA and imported Components... Sheath made in China" Tool is only stamped with "stainless" and serial #

Is the knife blade single edge or double-edge sharpened? Is the blade only belveled on one side or two?

Mine double edged beveled both sides.
