Just what I needed to help install a faster Internal 2.5inch SSD into my Inspiron 3670 SFF desktop. Still working just fine and doing what it says on the tin ! Excellent delivery on time from Amazon Prime. 5 Stars.

Works for Dell inspiron 3650
I got this to add a Ssd boot drive as original cabling only had enough sata power for one hdd and optical drive. Dell used an uncommon/proprietary 6pin connector for power on this motherboard and this was only one i could find. Works well and now has enough connections for 2 more sata devices

Cable does the job
I bought this knowing the 6pin molex was pinned for a different layout, I replaced the pins and cable worked great.

Do not touch/buy
The cable's sata power connector is far too narrow. Thought I was going mad! But I nearly broke my new SSD. AVOID. AT ALL COSTS.

Power supply for HDD - But slightly short for Dell Inspiron 3670
Purchased so I could add an additional Seagate 2.5in HDD to my Dell Inspiron 3670. Delivered quickly and worked as expected. The 6 pin connector attaches to the (one) spare power socket on the motherboard. The other end attaches to the HDD.In fact, I added 2 HDDs. If doing this, note that this cable is not quite long enough to reach from the 6 pin socket to the first HDD and then onwards the second HDD. In order to extend its reach I also bought an Akasa SATA Power Splitter (15 Pin 30cm AK-CBPW05-30). Note also that the internal design of the Inspiron 3670 is (probably deliberately) unhelpful. The horizontal 2.5in HDD can be mounted easily enough but the one which is installed vertically does not quite have enough clearance at the top to allow the power cable and the SATA data cable to be attached without fouling the case cover when it is remounted. The solution is to gently bend the metal lugs in the case (on which the HDD normally sits) out of the way, and then to mount the HDD upside down, so that the cables are at the bottom).Don't forget to buy some M3 screws for mounting the HDD - they don't come with the HDD and Dell doesn't provide any as standard. You may also need a couple of small washers to ensure a secure fit when the screws are tightened.
