This was a great mask for my 10 and 12 year olds. Good fit water does not come in the top.

Purchased for each of my kids. They don’t have previous snorkeling experience so this dry snorkel was perfect for them. You’ll have to warn them that the water and air will be blocked at the same time. Hence the dry snorkel. Worked so good while they watched sharks, fish, turtles and dolphins! Perfect for calm or under supervision choppy waters.

Look for no other snorkel set… you won’t be disappointed. It does fog up, so you would need a defogger. Builds immediate confidence of going under water for my six year old,

The mask of this system is great - it fit my kids (ages 7 and 10) well and was very comfortable for them. A minor annoyance is the information provided on Amazon says that the mask works with the neoprene cressi strap protectors but actually it doesn't since you can't take the strap off the mask to put it through the strap protector. I contacted cressi to check if really the strap couldn't be removed (there is something you can pull but when I pulled it, strap didn't come off and I didn't want to break it) and they told me not to remove the strap. So in the end, I had to cut into the neoprene strap protector, put it around the strap, and then sew it up again. The process was a bit tedious but the end result worked well and these were the most comfortable, not leaky masks my daughters have used. So that was good.My problem with this system - and why I gave it only 3 stars - is that the snorkel leaked easily. There is a lightweight valve at the bottom of the snorkel (i.e. the end of the snorkel that is in water and attaches to the mouthpiece) that easily became displaced. Once the valve/cover was displaced, every breath in brings water into the snorkel which clearly is not what you want! I think this especially happened if my kids breathed out into the snorkel to clear it of water (as info says you can if water comes in despite top splash protector). I was able to mostly fix things by pressing the plastic valve/covering back into place firmly, breathing in a few times in air, and then putting the snorkel back in water but then same thing would happen again. Overall it was very annoying (happened maybe once every few hours) and made my kids wary of snorkeling. When the valve was working, the snorkel worked great though - the splash protector at the top is very nice and the snorkel fit into their mouths comfortably. Just to be clear - the problem I am talking about is that the end that is supposed to be in water sometimes leaks, not incorrect use of the snorkel by plunging the "air-end" top of the snorkel underwater (my kids did that too - but that isn't a fault of the snorkel itself of course!)In short, we are going to keep using the mask since it was so comfortable and didn't leak but I will buy a separate snorkel - which means that this set instead of costing us almost $30 for a set is really $30 for only a mask.

I bought these for my granddaughter for a trip to Hawaii. She loved it and spent many hours using this. She is 8 and it fit her face perfectly. I have adult masks from this company that were significantly more expensive and, as near as I can tel,l this mask was the same quality. When you order this set be careful that you get the dry snorkel as they offer a semidry snorkel and most of the sets on amazon are the semidry set.

We took this to Cozumel for my 10 year old son. He is a little on the small side but it fit him perfect. He practiced in the salt pool on the ship before we went out and it worked awesome. He was a pro after two days. I would recommend fins even for little guys because the ocean was overwhelming with no fins. The goggles did not fog with us using our own saliva so that was great. The orange was easily visible against the ocean so we could keep an eye on him.
