Good product
Good case. Charges well. Charges about 2 times. My only complaint is that sometimes it doesn't charge my phone when it's plugged in.Other than that a good charger case and a pretty good deal for what they're charging. No pun intended

Very impressive case (photos/review).
The S9 has a 3000mAh battery, good for realistically 16-18 hours of medium use. This battery/case has a 4500mHA battery "along with" wireless charging capability. Than means it should charge your phone 1.5+/- times from 0% power. Charging is fast (1.5-5 A output). I actually let a friend with a different phone but same width borrowed the case at work (wouldn't fit completely in case, just enough to get to the type-c port) to charge her phone up to 45% in less than 25 min, which was neat I could do that... That being said, the "charge method" used is a type-c port well secured inside the case that mounts in your phones charge port, A direct charge (added photo). The wifi charging is to charge the external battery in the phone case. Yet your phone acknowledges the external battery as part of the phone and begins to charge WHEN CASE IS OFF. There's instructions to help. When fully charged the backlight is WHITE, then BLUE, then GREEN, then RED when low (est 5-10% charge at red). The fingerprint coating (added photo) will start to scratch off around the corners from casual use (taking in out of pocket or purse if your a lady, etc.) within a week. Not a big deal, the case is of a decent material. The outer buttons are perfectly aligned and you will have no problem adjusting volume or power. However they are not pronounced, so very "sleek" (last photo :-). If you have a slight carpal tunnel numbness issue like me you won't feel the buttons well. That's a more personal complaint though. If you use your phone in car with Bluetooth radio devices that go in cigarette lighter/charge port in car, make sure charger is turned on before plugging in charger, otherwise charge activation/deactivation will alternate and cycle quickly (strange I know).Wireless charging is fantastic. I put a heavy duty Velcro on the back of all my devices and in my car to secure where I want while driving. Even with that extra thickness added, when I place it on my wireless charging TuL notebook, it still recognizes and begins wireless charging for the battery in case. With other cases I could not use the phones wireless charging ability due to the cases obstruction and Velcro. Fyi Velcro can grab inside your pant pockets and start adding holes so try that at own risk ;).Reaching the fingerprint reader takes getting used to (few times). But I actually like it because of how I secure my phone in car. I can reach it better. Because of case thickness it's just the way it's gotta be lol. Not an issue really.Personal results, I think it's an awesome case and makes the phone seem like the first time you bought it. You will want to keep playing with phone again 😃. In the immortal words of Forest Gump, "that's about it."

Feels hot
I purchased this specifically for my travel to costa rico, however thought it would be a good idea to try it out today. Charges it yesterday.Today is my first time placing it on my phone. It is charging slowly to me, BUT my phone was at 20%, this real problem to me is,it's HOT the part where you hold/press the button for 3 seconds is hot to touch while charging and it was not like that prior to turning it on. I wonder if this is a good or bad thing? I remember the old school android batteries getting hot and being a problem,I hope this isn't the case. However for now it's slowly doing it's job.It feels soft, heavy, room for earphones. Now that is it November the charger is still hot and now will only charge my phone one time. When I went to Costa Rica it charged my phone at the least TWICE will out and about doing excursions. But now it either barely charges or won't charge my phone to 100% . I brought it for my first NFL game in October and it charged my phone to 40% and that was it. And yes it was the blue color before the game so it was fully charged.

Overall a good case
I have used battery cases for phones in the past and am fairly familiar with them. I was looking for one as I plan to do some camping and hiking this summer and need to have the ability to charge the phone and protect it while in the outdoors. A couple of key areas: bulk, phone protection, charging and recharging the phone/case.Bulk: Yeah it's a battery phone case, it's big. The large hole in the back for access to the fingerprint scanner is sufficient however it changes the angle that you hit the sensor and that caused a bit of a learning curve to unlock my phone.Protection: The case seems durable and has some heft to it. The bottom of the phone fits nicely and is held secure due to the USB-c port plugging into the phone. The phone is then pressed into the rest of the case. This is different from other cases I've used and is a weakness in the design. The top of the phone does not rest deeply enough into the case to give some space between the cases top lip and the phones front screen. The gap is non-existent and won't protect the phone's screen in a fall. Maybe over time as the cushion inside is worn or pressed it may improve but not likely.Charging: I was able to charge my phone at least one time fully from 25% and was able to charge up the phone (not to full) a second time. It appeared to be adequate for a day or two of heavy usage of screen on time. This area was not a weakness and worked as expected. I don't particularly like the color coding for approximate charge remaining but that's just my preference. It performed as I would expect from the rated capacity of the case.Re-charging: The case does work with wireless charging and it appeared to charge my phone first then the case which was expected. It wasn't always clear but it looks like it does support fast charging via wireless if your charger supports it though I think the case does not fast charge (the phone will, however). The issue I ran into with the wireless charging was as follows: My charger base has a blue light and it turns off when the phone would be fully charged. I normally drop my phone on it at night to charge overnight. The phone/case combo would charge on the wireless base overnight but in the morning it would show an "error" red light on the base charger instead of being turned off. Both phone and case were fully charged so it might be just a quirk with the case and the wireless charger. The light indicator on the case would also stay illuminated while on the charger and flashed while charging. For those who don't like indicator lights being on overnight, this might be a show stopper.Overall the case was what I expected, no surprises really. I will keep the case and use it however the screen protection is a concern of mine. I'm usually pretty attentive to my phone and have only dropped it a few times in the past year.

Works Well
This is a great case. I use it every time I golf or go somewhere that I'll be using a lot of phone battery on streaming music or GPS. The only thing holding it back from five stars is that the exterior started bubbling after a few uses, but it hasn't affected the performance.

Needed a replacement but very good customer service at that point
I believe I'd had this battery case for about 10 months when a fault developed. The case simply wouldn't hold a charge and either failed to charge up my phone or did so with a very weak amount of power, effectively rendering it useless.I contacted Newdery and was dealt with by a lady called Lisa. I sent a couple of photographs to her and within a few days, a replacement case was on its way to me. That new case appears to be working perfectly. So, no complaints about the customer service levels. If it wasn't for the replacement I would have awarded 5 stars!

Really handy for extra power
I'm ALWAYS on my phone now I'm on furlough and was forever running out of battery. This one had great reviews so took a gamble. Paid off pretty well, too. Phone fits perfectly and feels really secure. I let my phone battery diminish to about 10% and then switched it on. Continue playing on my phone and it was charging pretty quickly. Wouldn't call it a fast charger, but it certainly does the job well.Negatives:Yes, it does add a bit of bulk to your phone however, this is something I will get used to. In fact it feels a bit more secure in my clumsy hands. When I charge the phone both via cable or wirelessly, the battery pack charges as well. Not necessarily a bad thing however, if I've not needed it, it will be on charge for no reason and I'm afraid this may reduce it's life span. You could take it out every time but you run the risk of damaging the connector on the case, which is something someone else pointed out in the reviews.Overall, it's a decent bit of kit, for the price, and I should give you plenty of hours on your phone.
