Ambessa Earl of Harlem 20 Sachets Tea Tin by Harney & Sons

My favorite tea. Combines the earthiness of lapsang souchang with an earl grey for a remarkably robust and delicious cup of tea. Marcus Samuelssen is a renowned chef and this tea just proves his flavor profile.

After being so impressed with the African Safari blend, I decided to try this one. BUT, I neglected to notice it has bergamot in it, and I don't like it as well. If you like bergamot, you will love this one, too.

I've been trying a lot of different Earl Grey teas lately as I've been trying to find the very best one for me. Some of been downright horrid (Private Selection!) and others are mid-range. Twinings is good but that's as good as it gets for me there, unfortunately. This tea though... this tea is fabulous! I'm guessing that the smoky flavor comes from the Jasmine green tea that they use and it blends so nicely with the black tea! I will be buying more of this in the future, along with my other favorite Earl (Taylors of Harrogate). I still haven't tried them all yet but it's going to take an amazing tea to unseat this one from my list of favorites!

My favorite Earl Grey tea blend: smooth, lovely balance. So many have a soapy taste to me. I bought this through Harney and Sons web site. My favorite tea company.

Love this smoky earl grey flavor. Lots of dimension to the flavor.
