Dinosaurs Love Underpants Kindle Edition

This book is simply awful. The story is stupid and violent, and any child who loves dinosaurs knows that "cavemen" (also an incredibly stupid characterization) and dinosaurs did not coexist. The idea that the dinosaurs all beat each other to death over a limited supply of underwear (complete with illustrations) is horrible. I absolutely loathed this book. I actually hid it, so I wouldn't have to read it to my son again.

Uhrm. I mean, it's cute, but I didn't really realize that it describes a dinosaur war to the death over underpants. I don't tend to think of myself as too sensitive a parent, but I was a little taken aback at the violence, so I thought I would put it out there in case there are parents who have a zero level tolerance for that sort of thing. I personally don't think it's a problem in this story, but would like to have been warned ahead of time.

The faces are mad, the characters are fighting. This is not a fun book. We only read it once, and not sure if I want to scare other children with this.

My dinosaur loving son enjoys this book. It's cute, but you may have to explain to your kid that all the dinosaurs or either sleeping or dead at the end of the book. If you're sensitive and offended by dinosaurs going to war over stealing caveman under pants you probably won't like it. If your kids likes dinosaurs and underpants or the concept of dinosaurs in underpants they'll enjoy it.

Disappointed in this book. I knew it would be a funny book, but it is just silly. My 3 1/2 year old Grandson is 'into' dinosaurs, but this book is for older kids who understand humorous drawings and unfamiliar words used for the purpose of rhymimg. Sorry I ordered this one!

My boys adore this book! We read it all the time and my oldest “reads it to me” Too (he has it memorized). The rhymes are fun and it is cute enough that when I am forced to read it 5 times in a row it isn’t that bad. :) All in all worth getting for my little dino lovers!

Ok, this book is hilarious. My 3 and 1 year old nieces love this book. On the first page it says this book solves the mystery of why dinosaurs were wiped out. We tease that this book solves it all and they love when t-Rex wants to steal the cavemen’s undies. This is perfect for the toddler in your life who is starting out in the potty training circuit or who loves dinosaurs. It’s really cute and a fan fave with my girls.

My 3yr old loves these series. We first borrowed Aliens love Dinopants from the library and ended up buying two books from this series because he asked to read it at least twice a day for a week. So when I bought this book we had high expectation and were kind of let down. The story line of the Aliens one is funnier and he seems to enjoy it more than this one. I will still probably buy the rest just because I’m curious.

I bought this book for my son- he's 2 and obsessed with dinosaurs!After receiving the Monsters love underpants book as a gift- and us reading it 20,000 times I decided to buy more of the series as the Monsters book is good fun, well illustrated, a large book so easy for him to hold with lots of background illustrations going on so I can ask him to point certain items out on the page.I believe that this one was published before the Monsters book- but the quality is just as good.The book is large, brightly coloured and tells a tongue in cheek story.The storyline goes along the lines of the cavemen were sick of being naked- so they invented underpants to cover their modesty- the dinosaurs were jealous of mans interesting undergarments and therefore fought over them- hence that's why dinosaurs are no more.If you're looking for a factually correct book regarding dinosaurs- then this really isn't the book for you to buy your children- I mean the clue is in the title......But if you're looking for a rhyming book with a quirky story, bright pictures and a bit of a giggle with your children- then go ahead :)

Great little book, well made, well written and produced, very attractive, bought for my 4yr old great grandson to read with me when he visits. We’re both very happy with it. Quick delivery, good price.

My grandsons love this book, in fact I had to buy a second one so they had one each and they read together. Any child would love this book.

My son's school selected this book for term but he really loves it. It's colorful has great rhyming and plenty of opportunities to engage and ask questions.

I love telling this story to my grandchildren, gave them the book for there Birthday and even managed to find dinosaur pants to put in with the book.
