This is the Updated Rowin Ensemble Chorus - best bang for the buck
This is the updated version of the well regarded Rowin LEF-604 chorus (see YouTube intheblues rowin chorus). It is hard to believe how tiny this is. I hope the trend continues as long as the power port is on top. Mooer, Tomsline/Aroma, Donner, Nu-X/Kokko comply with top located 9V power port standard. Joyo, Caline, and others have user-unfriendly non-standard side 9V power ports. The identical Rowin LN-304 model, web site rowinmusic, is called the Ensemble.Chorus is not something I use all the time. It is great, however, for those special sounds. Since I use it only for that purpose, I keep the level and rate knob just past 3 o'clock and the mix knob just less than midpoint. I then flip the toggle back and forth for the particular sound vibe that appeals to me at the time.Downside: like almost all of these mini/nano effects boxes, I hate the tiny, black, unusable in low light, knobs. I always cover them with the only tight-fitting "over-knobs" that I found for these effects boxes (and only from Thailand). My favorite from search "thaishopetc 10 x knob red mark"

Super small. Great analog tones! And cheap!
I am still slightly in disbelief about this pedal. It's tiny. I mean really tiny. It looks like a Christmas orniment or something! I have been building and buying pedals for over 2 decades and lately I have become very fond of 1590a sized pedals (the twinky sized boxes) and these are about 2/3 the size of those pedals! It blows my mind how they are able to get these so small and still sound good! Now the sound. This sounds like an analog chorus to me. I don't have a similar chorus to compare it to right now but it sounds good enough for my purposes - a lot like any boss ce2 based pedals. I'm not a huge chorus user but this sounds great for occasional use. There is an audible switch pop however. Not obnoxiously loud but it's there. Not a deal breaker for the price in my opinion. The only negative for me is it might be Too small. When used next to other larger pedals it can get tricky to engage the footswitch since this pedal sits lower than the surrounding pedals. If this were a pedal I used a lot during a performance it would be a little too small for gigging. Also I don't know how repairable this pedal is. With all the smd and tiny components and the price I imagine if something goes wrong I'd just have to replace it.Overall I'm amazed at the price at which one can get a true bypassed true analog pedal. The size can be a major advantage depending on your needs as well. Crazy how I can order this at 6am and with prime have a analog pedal at my house by 8pm all for 28$ - that's kinda crazy compared to buying this kind of thing in the 90s and the early 2000s.UPDATE: the pedal started making a whining noise that I could not get rid of. It started for no apparent reason. Not sure what did it as I didn't take the pedal out of my house yet. although this pedal sounded great it didn't last.

Good pedal at great price.
When this pedal came I thought it was defective. When I plugged it in to the amp it made a loud buzzing sound. I switched guitar cables to no effect. I contacted Amazon and they shipped a replacement pedal. It buzzed too. I was bummed. I took it to the local music store and plugged it into one of their amps. No buzz. What? I came back with the cheap power supply that I had. Using my cheap power supply brought the buzz back on their amp too. I bought a new power supply and it works great. The moral? If you have a pedal that is making noise, try another power supply before you ask for a return! That or don't buy the cheapest power supply. :-)

She thick, but most importantly, she loop
First off, I have no idea what is meant by “thickness”. The foot pedal is about two inches thick, so if we’re going to judge off that, I’d say two inches of thick is five stars of review. This is not an arbitrary measurement, I actually consulted several professionals in the field and they agree: “she thick!” For the price I paid, I actually got more than expected. The amount of record time the pedal accommodates it more than those of loopers three times the price- plus it has the extra basic functions you usually have to pay more for: reverse, half speed etc. So far I’ve had zero issues using this looper, but if it the future the thing craps out on me and stops working, or if it turns out to not work well in a live setup, then oh well, it was a great price and I got my money’s worth. You do need to purchase a power supply, but that takes nothing away from the value.

This one rates as one of the best sounding One's I've owned
I've been a professional musician for 45 yrs. And have ownedSeveral chorus peddles. This one rates as one of the best soundingOne's I've owned, for sure the smallest. Very musical sounding, niceShimmer.the only problem with it is it makes a click through your ampWhen activating it. Quite when you turn it off. Wouldn't work for recording. If you turn it on and off on a track. For live I can live with it. I don't useChorus very much. Other small detail is if you like a fast Leslie sound theRate on this one is a little slow. But if you like Brian Adams or Police sounds,This will do it.

The item didn't work. Most likely it was broken. I paid for a defective item. No help from who sold it. Not good.
