Fobus SP11B Compact Holster for Springfield Armory XD / HS 2000 9/357/40 5" 4" / Sig 2022, P250 / H&K P2000 P2000SK /Taurus Millenium .45, Millenium Pro (ALL Pro models), Right Hand Paddle

This holster is my daily, on the farm, carry holster for a H&K P2000. It is easy on, easy off and sticks out just enough to get a good grip on the gun's handle with the thumb and fingers for a very fast draw and reholstering. It can be adjusted for tightness so is great if working in unusual positions as sometimes is the case with tractors. The cant is just right for me and it is comfortable enough for all-day wear without even noticing that it is being carried. Often I'll sit down to dinner and not realize that I still have it on. The paddle is very secure and requires loosening a belt to get it off. That is a good thing. Having the holster come out as well when you only want the gun is not good. The P2000 is fairly heavy so I wear a pair of suspenders along with a belt to hold everything in place. I have different holsters for CCW use but this could be used for that also. It obviously sticks out a bit more than an IWB holster but with a heavy coat or vest it would be just fine.

I conceal carry a H&K P2000sk .40. This is a difficult gun to find a conceal holster that fits it. I ordered this holster hoping it would fit, and it does. I did have back out the adjustment screw until it was barely joining the 2 pieces. Now that I've had my gun in the holster for a couple of weeks, it's loosened up a little bit, and I've screwed the set screw back in a little. I like the way to gun sits in this holster--very high on my hip. Not only does this make it easy to quick draw, it's also very comfortable to sit down in. I don't even notice I have it on. This is the first paddle system I've purchased and I'm happy I decided to go with it. Prior to this I was using a shoulder holster which I could never get adjusted correctly. I think my gun is a little too heavy for that type of system anyway. The gun does make a 'clicking' sound when slid into the holster and from what I can tell, it holds it VERY securely. I'm glad I bought this product.

Was told by Fobus tech support that the SP11B was molded from the XD line. Even though it says it fits Sig SP2022, it only fits the 2022 with one cross groove on bottom of Pic. Older Rail. Mine has 4, and he stated it will not fit my sp2022 just purchased with updated rail. Update, holster came in. It fits both guns, the Sig sp2022 9mm with new rail, and the xd subcompact .40. The single stack xd it will not fit as that slide is narrower. It fits the new Sig 2022 updated rail perfectly, not sure why he told me that. Whether it's one cross rail or 4, all of the rails are the same distance from the top to bottom, thereby making no more obstruction going into holster. The only thing I see as a neg, is that the trigger area before the actual trigger is accessible, like ones finger can fit in there, but cannot pull trigger. So, it doesn't cover as much of the gun as the sig holster does that it came with. I do like the 15 degree forward positioning, but that would leave you more susceptible to one pulling your gun from forward vs behind. The bottom line is no holster is going to protect you 100 % if you need to use it quickly. It also offers more width and a rubber grip in the paddle itself than the Sig holster, but the Sig is tighter and made with heavier thicker plastic. It does cover the xd subcompact trigger area more. In my opinion you could use this holster for both guns without question. The Fobus is also easier to take off then the Sig, as the Sig has these aggressive hooks that grab your belt from both sides, great for retention, tough to take off. You will struggle until you do it numerous times. The Fobus you can remove with one hand. The Fobus holster flexes a little, and allows the gun/holster to flex slightly as the thin plastic gives. I'd have to wear both more to see which I prefer, but I bought the Fobus thinking it only fit the XD, when it fits the 2022 as well.

While paddle holsters aren't the most concealable method of carrying your pistol, this one does ride close enough to the body to allow a simple oversize shirt to fully conceal it. The fit for my Taurus PT111 Millenium Pro is perfect, and the tensioning screw allows me to set the amount of retention I am comfortable with. For someone who carries a gun that does not have the widest range of accessories finding a product like this is important. The paddle fits securely, with no swing or movement of the pistol while walking or even when running. The rubberized back holds the paddle in place and it won't slide when worn against a tucked in shirt. If worn against bare skin, it CAN pinch slightly, but not uncomfortably so. The tabs hold against the belt securely and won't release with either a rapid, or slow draw. I've worn this all day for several weeks now and am completely pleased with the way it carries. I DO wish it was fitted for a slightly wider belt, as on occasion I would use this with a 2 inch nylon duty belt. However, the belt tabs are fitted just a little smaller than this and it won't quite work for that application. However since it's not marketed as a duty holster, I will not take a star off for not fitting on duty belts.

This Fobus holster is great! I use this holster for my Springfield Armory XD45 5" Tactical. This holster is much better than the belt holster included with new Springfield Armory handguns. The polymer molding fits the contours of the gun perfectly and holds the gun securely. The holster rides low, and is unnoticeable after a few uses (I usually wear it with just jeans and a leather belt). It is made for a fast draw, which if you aren't already accustomed to, fits the needs of the holster well. This holster is priced well too; much cheaper than a factory Springfield Armory paddle holster. Overall, great holster. I would recommend this to anyone with an XD handgun.

Fits a Springfield xd 40 tactical. Cant have any bottom rail attatchments though
