BenroHD3A 3-way pan head

I love this head! I shoot landscape and wanted total stability and this head gives me that. Fitted on my manfrotto tripod perfectly. No slipping on any of the axis when used for long exposure Astro photography and even doing star trails. Cons it is heavy but that is to be expected. The bubble levels on mine are not very accurate but I always use the level in the camera and on the tripod legs.

It does exactly what I bought it to do. Holds camera in a variety of positions that would be hard to do without it. 😂 it’s great. 👍🏼

Have already bought a Benro Ball Head with Arca-Swiss plate so I chose this head so all lenses/collars would be easily interchangeable.The HD2A is sturdy and the tensioning handles have a nice feel. but there is one design aspects that is worth noting.I prefer to orient the 70 mm plate ALONG the collar of my long lens. Intuitively, you'd be inclined to orient the Head with the handle facing the user but this limits the user to aiming the lens fully down (-90) to slightly up (+35) and this is obviously unsuitable for astrophotography. So you need to ensure that the controlling handle is oriented AWAY from the user which allows the lens to cover the whole sky. But with the handle on the OPPOSITE side from the user, making adjustments is awkward. It's not impossible but It'll take some getting used to.Of course with the plate attached perpendicular to the collar or lens, this is not a problem. And I'm still happy I bought the head despite this unexpected "feature" as it is otherwise well made.One other thing I found extremely irritating was Benro's failure to supply the usual 3/8" to 1/4" adapter. This is a shocking omission for such a brand (it was included with my Ball Head B0). Especially since the Full Specification on the Benro website make no mention whatsoever of the size of the tripod screw. If your tripod is configured to accept 1/4", be prepared to be frustrated by the out of box experience.

I own several Benro products; thus far the brand has not let me down. Ideal for moon photography, or landscapes. Very happy with the product.

INTRO———• Avant l'émergence des têtes "rotules", on n'avait que des têtes 3 axes qui s'adaptait indistinctement à un usage Photo et/ou Vidéo. (ex : les têtes GITZO)• L'arrivée des têtes "rotules" a rendu les trépieds plus compact et plus léger … mais au détriment du confort pour les réglages fin, longues focales et prise de vue macro.LE PRODUIT——————(+) Ayant que des rotules sur mes trépieds carbone, j'ai ressenti l'impérieux besoin de revenir à la tête 3 axes avec mon Canon G3X … pour faciliter le cadrage en mode 300 mm (et au delà !).(+) Bien que n'ayant pas un Reflex FF avec un 300 mm f2.8 à monter (seulement un Canon G3X), j'ai opté pour la taille intermédiaire (HD2-A) qui me donne le très bon compromis "poids supporté" et "encombrement"(+) Très belle finition, simple, serrage fluide et ferme(+) Montée sans problème sur mon Vanguard Alta Pro 283CT, en remplacement de la rotule Vanguard BBH-100 Rotule.(+) Prix très compétitif( ! ) Un poids un peu plus élevé qu'une rotule de force similaire (+60%)A L'USAGE—————(+) Permet de réaliser facilement ce qui est un challenge avec une rotule : faire un cadre précis au télé, suivre des mouvements (photo, vidéo) …(+) La fixation ARCA-SWISS (indispensable pour moi et très rare sur les têtes 3 axes)(+) L'astucieux système de sécurité lors du desserrage du plateau ARCA(+) Les 3 petits niveaux à bulle (studio, architecture, …)(+) Fluidité totalement adaptée à la prise Vidéo.( ! ) Le seul "hic" est l'encombrement des 2 leviers, qui ne rentrent pas dans le sac du trépied. Je dois donc démonter les 2 leviers pour un transport en avion.

一眼レフを肩から斜め掛け時に、望遠レンズなど長めのレンズが外向きになるのを防ぐため、INPONクイックリリースプレートアルカスイス互換ストラップホール付をよく使うカメラ4台につけている。このプレートにストラップの片側をつけることで、斜め掛け時にレンズが下向きになり歩行での持ち運び時に安心出来る。このプレートには雲台に取り付けるねじ穴がないため、このプレートを直接取り付け可能な3ウエイ雲台でアルカスイス互換タイプの物を探していたが（自由雲台のアルカスイス互換タイプは数個持っているが・・・）、なかなか見つからず色々と調べてやっとこの雲台を見つけた。（ベルボンやマンフロットなどは独自のプレート固定方式でアルカスイス互換タイプの3ウエイ雲台は見つからなかった）早速発注したところ発注日の翌日に届いた。この雲台を一脚や3脚に取り付けてみたが、カメラの着脱も容易で３ウエイタイプだけに位置決め操作も非常にやりやすいことが確認出来た。まだ使いだして間がないので耐久性は判らないが、これぞ自分が求めていたもので今のところは満足している。クイックリリースプレートの固定用ノブの操作にややコツが要り、当初は操作にややまごついたが慣れるにつれてスムースに操作・着脱出来るようになってきた。

Mi é piaciuta la compattezza della testa, caratteristica non comune nelle teste a tre vie a causa delle leve di regolazione sporgenti. Robusta, in metallo colore nero opaco, io l'ho montata su un treppiede Manfrotto.
