Sauce is great but really hard to get open
The sauce itself is awesome but the jar design is awful!! It looks cool but it is really hard to get off. After prying off the wax seal the cork was flush with the tip of the glass. Trying to get the cork out sauce went everywhere. It stained everything and feels like chemical burns on my hands. Needs a new lid design!!!!

Yeah, that's pretty hot.
The bottle is my only complaint. It's hard to open. The cork is a bit spongy so it doesn't want to stay sealed once opened -- the increased pressure from corking makes it want to pop out again so you have to close it slowly. That aside it's still getting five stars. The sauce is plenty hot and it has a good flavor. Be careful applying directly to tongue, or maybe just don't do it unless it's for the thrills. Just put a few drops on an empanada and you're set.

Worst part was opening the container
Worst part was opening the container. Two drops in bowl of chili, not quite hotter than I can stand. I will try 3 drops next time. Dipped toothpick in additive and had to use salt to contain the heat. Bought one for use and one for collection. Also I put the additive into cobalt medicine jars with medicine dropper. Even if you are careful some will get on hands when opening.

I am in a contest to find the hottest sauce with a manager where I work and this was the champion sauce for a good while until I found the 3am sauce by the same company.

I'd strongly recommend the use of latex or nitrile gloves when handling
The bottle is truly evil art. The contents are something far more sinister.I I applied a very small amount to a bit of BBQ sauce and it certainly made it more lively. Not too hot. Just enough heat to sweat a little and then go right back for more. Small amounts are going to be the key with this stuff. I'd strongly recommend the use of latex or nitrile gloves when handling. I don't know if it would cause skin burns, but if you rubbed your eyes in your sleep, I think you'd try to gouge them out with a screwdriver.I only gave 4 stars because the cork has already begun to split in the middle. I'm afraid it will give way after only a few uses. I'll contact the seller and Blair's to inquire about a replacement.

BE CAREFUL OPENING!
Anybody ever have to scream for help while opening hot sauce before? I got a bottle of Blair's 2am reserve hot sauce. It has a cork and a thick wax seal covering it. I finally got the wax off and it tore the cork flush with the bottle. I got a cork screw (which I don't think I've ever used before) and proceeded to remove the cork. It then plunged into the bottle and like a whale's blowhole shot the hot sauce all over my face and hands. It went in my eyes, into my nose, around my mouth and face and in my beard. Instantly my throat started to close because the pungent aroma that Chile peppers give off was going straight into my sinuses and my throat. I needed two people to help me clean my face enough to then be guided to the shower. The rest of the day my skin that made contact with the sauce felt like I had next day second degree sunburn. And 3 days later I still have slight scabbing near my cheek bones from what I can only assume is a chemical burn of some sort. I CANT WAIT TO PUT THAT S*** INTO SOME CHILI!!
