Day 2 of Receiving the guitar
Since my initial review, yesterday, and playing the guitar a lot more, yesterday and today, I decided that I should customize the saddle and string height to better suit my playing. I put in a bone saddle that lowered the string action more to my fingerpicking style and volume preference. It sounds quite awesome and is very comfortable to me to play. This guitar has even more credibility as quite a good instrument for the money, considering it can so easily be customized to sound and play so good! Two Months Later/AdditionsSince my earlier reviews I changed the strings to hard high tension classical guitar strings. I like the changes strings much better than the strings that came on the guitar. They are the ones that will stay on the guitar for the long hall. They just sound more precise to pick and tune better. I also filed the existing nut’s grooves a slight bit so they sit better in the nut. Especially the third string. Another very good improvement in terms of making the neck play and feel better (and feel in balance when play.). The guitar is now sounding beautiful and playing really nice, like a higher end guitar. It’s a keeper!

Beautiful to Have and Hold!
I have wanted a classical guitar for a very long time, but found the prices too high for my wallet. Finally, I found this Cordoba C1! I am delighted with it. Not only was it affordable (under $200, but it's beautiful to look at and sounds very full. I love the feel -- its "weighty," meaning it doesn't feel cheap. The wood and hardware are stunning. My guitar came wrapped very securely, so there was damage. I purchased a Gleam guitar stand for under $12, so my guitar is out and ready for me to pick up any time. The gig bag has no padding, but the description was clear about that, so no surprises. There is a large zippered pouch on one side and straps for carrying the guitar like a suitcase or over shoulders like a backpack. I will get a hard case when I travel in the future. I highly recommend this full-size guitar to any beginner, and I imagine it is also just fine for someone who has played a lot more than I have.

Well made beginner guitar
This good quality guitar has solid wood and the glossy finish is beautiful. Its a great guitar for beginners and feels great to play. The reason this review was a four star from me is that the nylon strings take some time to get used to and need to be retuned often. They tend to go out of tune much faster than the steel strings on my other guitar.

Good teen guitar
My son needed a guitar to practice at home this was easy for him to tune and sounds exactly the same as the guitars he plays during his performances

Beautiful Tone
Bought this to replace my son’s beginner guitar. His music teacher recommended it. I’m a pianist and can appreciate the improvement in playability and sound quality. My son practices all the time now.

Nice guitar
Just got this today. This is a nice guitar for the money. It has a clear sound, appears to be well made and is quite a lovely instrument. I am very pleased with the overall quality. I am glad that I decided to purchase this instrument over some of the more well known brands. If I get to the point where I am any good on the guitar and I want an upgrade...I would buy from Cordoba again. The guitar also came with a soft case which I was not expecting. Case is zippered, has a large front pocket and padding.

Amazing for such a low price!
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this guitar is for $150 new on Amazon, with a gig bag (not much more than a scratch and dust cover, but hey, it comes free with the guitar). I tightened up the neck slightly with the included Allen wrench (it was taped to the cardboard box so I almost thought I did not get one with the guitar). 35 years ago I owned a $3000 classical guitar, which this guitar is not but still I know what a really nice guitar sounds and plays like and this $150 (street/amazon price) guitar is well worth the month. I wanted to dip my toe back into guitar playing after decades away from it, and this was such an easy decision, and with no regrets. If I keep up getting my mojo back, well then it was a small investment, and then I can buy a more expensive classical guitar.

Great beginner guitar
Had this instrument for a few weeks to let it settle. It came well packed and a soft case came with it. Wood is nice the tone was pleasant. The strings did get out of tune but this is normal so they need to stretch plus humidity change. I really like it and know I will have fun with it. Good buy.
