This heater will help keep your wallet GREEN! CHECK GROUNDS!!
I was getting some pretty high monthly bills using the standard baseboard heaters with the typical resistant type heating elements. They appeared to be cheaply made, as well. So, I surveyed my home. Getting the number and correct lengths for the Hydronic baseboard heaters. I had to find other suppliers because Amazon's vendors didn't have all sizes needed.I used two(2) other suppliers. I have a two(2) floor, two(2)bedroom one(1) bathroom; kitchen/dining room and a finished upstairs den/activity room Cape Cod type house. This required two(2)\six(6) foot hydronic heaters upstairs; one(1)\two(2) footer by the back kitchen door downstairs with one(1)\five(5)foot hydronic heater against the kitchen's interior wall; one(1)\six(6) footer under the front living-room double window and one(1)\four(4) foot heater under an adjacent window, also, in the living-room; one(1)\two(2) foot hydronic in our full bathroom, which would be considered smaller than the average bathroom by today's standards. One(1)\five(5)foot heater placed under the window in the back bedroom; two(2)\four(4) foot hydronic baseboards were attached under the two(2) adjacent windows in the master-bedroom.HYDRONIC HEATER TOTALS:(These heaters are all the 240VAC models, using separate wall mounted thermostats.)LENGTH - # of UNITS6 FT ....... 35 FT ....... 14 FT ....... 32 FT ....... 2Hydronic ------Units Total: 9During the winter months, my electric bills would average over $200.00 apprx. After installation and a few months use over winter months, the electric bills averaged a little over $100.00.This was significant enough to bring a smile to my face.Understand that this reflects only performance within the environment of my home. Different results may vary with other installations.I would assume, that if the customer is replacing the resistance coil type heaters with the liquid filled hermetically sealed heating elements as seen in these hydronic units, a reduction in electrical power use should result.I have no doubt, in my opinion, that these hydronic type heating units earn a five star rating. -----------------------------------The 28inch 500watt plf 504d quit working. I checked 240 voltage contolled by thermostat with multimeter. Votage and thermstat work fine but no joy with the heater. I'll look at the element wires solder to see if a cold solder gave our. I checked all the internal wiring. All wires good. I noticed that grounding tabs that connect by spring action of metal tab against enclosure wasn't touching metal. The metal cover is painted inside. So, there was no ground because of the paint. I scraped the paint away were the grounding tabs rest against the enclosure. Now the unit is safely grounded. This could have been a disaster being in the bathroom where water is always on the floor. I don't know, however, if this may have somehow induced the present malfunction. I'll order a new heater if the element soldering checks out.CHECH THE GROUNDING CONTACTS INSIDE THE ENCLOSURE THAT ARE ATTACHED TO THE ELEMENT HOLDERS. IF THEY ARE TOU HING THE PAINT than I suggent scrapping the pai t away from the area the ground tabs are supposed to rest on.

Best baseboard heater
If you are stuck with inefficient electric baseboard heat (as I am), then this is best, safest one to buy. You'll need separate thermostat either on the unit or wired in your wall somewhere. Hydronic is way safer way to go.

Not a good value
I run the baseboard heater during the winter months in a small bathroom. Installed it in the summer of 2021. During this last winter it started to pop and crackle during operation. Emailed the company with no response. Looking for a new heater. I thought I bought the best so, you never know what you are getting for your money. The heater this replaced worked for 20 years with no problems.

Got what I paid for
I used this heater during the reconstruction of a duplex after a fire. Although I'd never installed such a heater before, I found the process easy. The unit looks nice and heats the rooms in which I used it very well by using an external, wall-mounted thermostat. I'm still working on repairing the other side of this duplex and will use these heaters again on the second side.

Nice heater
We had to replace one of our heaters this size. It lasted about 12 years so not too unexpected. They work well and are generally dependable.

Otherwise a great product, and like most things will last if ...
Works as described. Note: keep area clear around unit. Allowing obstructions such as clothing, bath towels etc, to block air flow will cause a high limit cut off. If this happens repeatedly, the high limit cut off apparently will malfunction and the unit will no longer work. Otherwise a great product, and like most things will last if you know how to care for it.

Nice quality
A little pain to wire because J boxes are small but a minor problem

Efficent and attractive
At my contractor's suggeestion, we replaced an old electric baseboard heater with this hydronic one when remodeling our bathroom. As he suggested, this new heater is more efficient, heats up faster and stays warm longer after shutting off than the old one. The "white" is creamier than I'd expected, but the design is so low profile that you hardly notice it. We're thinking of switching all of our electric baseboard heaters to the hydronics.
