Great vitamins, but price here is outrageous lately.
I have had bariatric surgery, so I use these vitamins. In the past, they have been about $30 for 120 tablets, but lately Amazon has been charging a very high amount for them.To be honest, I like eating the vitamins, and according to my surgeon, they provide most of the vitamins that are needed by the post-bariatric patient. The only exception is vitamin D3. An additional supplement needs to be taken, as the amount of vitamin D3 in this product is not adequate.

To me it tastes like orange sherbet.
Best tasting Chewable Vitamin I have ever had. To me it tastes like orange sherbet. Please know these things taste different to everyone. It does NOT have that "vitamin" smell or taste. And after my surgery knowing I have to take vitamins the rest of my life it is good to know these will help me do that. I do have to take in a bit more calcium but all in all for the price these are all the vitamins you need.

I am not a bariatric patient.
I have had sluggish/weak digestion for over a decade, but when I was 35, I went through a period of intense stress. Eating became a chore. Swallowing was difficult and the amount of food I could eat at one meal continued to diminish. I lost weight and I had to time all my meals carefully so that 6 or 7 hours would pass between each small meal. I could not eat again until a full six hours had passed.Three or four years later, my menstrual cycles became irregular and I had sore and bleeding gums. I was frequently tired, but lacked the appetite and motivation to eat vegetables. I decided to look for some chewable supplements. I started taking these bariatric vitamins because they are designed for people with a small appetite and a limited ability to digest healthy food - that's me! They contain iron, which can be difficult to find in a multivitamin. I also began taking digestive enzymes with each meal.It has been three months and the most noticeable difference is that my shower drain is always clean. I used to lose so much hair. My cycles have also normalized. I had thought that I was going through early menopause, but signs of fertility have returned. I also think my energy and stamina are moderately improved. I used these vitamins as a jumping point to try to nourish my body on a limited appetite.

Best Nutrition but Packaging Needs Improvement
**UPDATE - 4/15/2021. I have been buying these Optisource chewables for 10 months now & really enjoyed them. I just received the first bottle of their "new formula" Optifast by Nestle & I'm really disappointed. They took the Iron out of them!! This is why I bought these specific vitamins, because they contained both Iron & Calcium, so I could take less pills, now I have to add another to my regimen & they're charging the same price?! I'm really not happy about that. Other vitamin levels have also been changed, these contain a little less of some things & a little more of others. The taste & texture are similar, but different from old formula. Less citrusy, a little more floral now, almost soapy. I'm happy that they finally changed the bottle shape & included cotton in them to protect the vitamins & keep them from breaking, but the lack of Iron is upsetting.***I had laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. This was the ONLY chewable multivitamin that met nearly all of my vitamin & mineral guidelines. If I take 4 a day, this meets or exceeds my needs for Iron, Folic Acid, Vitamin A, Thiamine, Zinc, Copper, Selenium, & Calcium Citrate. I do need to take an additional Vitamin D supplement. My surgeon requires 3000 iu daily of Vit D & 4 of these only provide 800 iu.At first, the size was a little intimidating. These vitamins are about the width of a nickel & are very thick, but they are easy to chew & break down quickly. Taking them throughout the day is recommended, not all at once. They've been very gentle on my new stomach, no issues with digestion. Yes, as others have said, they are quite dry & chalky. I wish they had other flavor options. I'm personally not a fan of the Citrus. I think they're very tart & the aftertaste is quite metallic, but I'd rather eat these than take a pile of different supplements. My biggest complaint is how dusty they are & the high number of broken pieces in the bottle. These come in a very large bottle with no cotton or cushioning at all, so they bounce around & bang into each other. I'm constantly finding 1/2 or 1/4 bits & at the bottom of the bottle there is a huge pile of dust. Considering the price, I consider this a waste. All those broken bits & dust are vitamins I should have been able to consume whole.Overall, this is the best I could find nutrition wise - but the manufacturer definitely needs to change the packaging to protect the product better & ensure that the consumer can actually eat all of the vitamins they paid for.

Most Nutrients for Weight Loss Surgery Patients
As a gastric bypass patient it is very important that I continue to take vitamins that give me the most nutrients. These vitamins are what was recommended to me and what I continue to recommend to my fellow weight loss surgery friends as they contain everything needed to stay healthy. The fact that I can get them on Amazon for such a reasonable price is the icing on the cake.

Easy on the stomach, high quality
These are great for bariatric surgery patients. After my surgery, large vitamins hurt my stomach. These chewables don't bother my stomach at all. And my doctor recommended this brand as having good quality vitamins.

Works good, easy to chew, good flavor
I have been using this vitamin for many years. My labs all are good except Vitamin d and iron. same old story year after year from gastic bypass labs. I would buy these again and have recommended them to my family. They are a little more expensive but to me its worth not having to swallow so many pills. After time you get tired of it and your stomach does not hold it all. My stomach has shrunk more than they have ever seen before. We are not sure why so room in my pouch is important to me. You wont take your vitamins if its not easy and taste good if a chewable. This has all features I like and so while its more on the costly side I will keep trying to afford this as long as I can. Recommend these.
