OK, BUT...
I purchased fourteen (14) "D" POWEROWL 10000mah and two (2) "C" POWEROWL 5000mah Ni-MH Rechargeable Batteries for my wife's eight (8) flameless moving flame candles. I got tired of having to constantly purchased replacement batteries every other month. I originally tried Energizer brand rechargeable batterie, but did not read the specs carefully. Turns out they were nothing mote than a "AA" battery in a "C" or "D" shell, thus did not last but a week or two compared to the 6-8 weeks I get from the POWEROWL batteries.I gave the POWEROWL batteries four (4) stars for the following reasons:When the first set of POWEROWL batteries needed recharging after 6-8 weeks of candle burning every night for five (5) hours, the batteries would not charge and battery charger indicated that one or both batteries were "BAD". To be fair, I am using the Energizer brand Ni-MH battery charger that I purchased when I originally bought Energizer rechargeable batteries, so I do not know if this problem is specific to this charger or not. Regardless, as I had but four (4) days left to return the faulty batteries, I immediately started the return/exchange process. By swapping out batteries in the charger, I was able to determine that only one of the two batteries was "BAD". Regardless, as the batteries were purchased in pairs, and three pairs were purchased at a time, I had to return six (6) batteries, to get six (6) replacements, when only one was BAD! I waited until the replacement batteries arrived before returning the BAD battery + five (5) good batteries. As a day or two had passed since I tried charging the BAD battery, for kicks I put the battery back in the charger and wouldn't you know it, it charged just fine this time! I have since discovered that when the batteries no longer light the candles, I must wait 6-12 hours after removing them from the candles before attempting to charge, otherwise the charger gives me a "BAD" battery indication and will not charge. As long as I wait the 6-12 hours after removing them from the candles, they charge fine. I have recently noticed that when the charger indicates that the batteries are "charged", (normally after 5-6 hours of charging), I can remove the batteries from the charger, and immediately re-insert them and they will charge again for another 5-6 hours. I guess I should experiment more by taking voltage readings when first removing them from the candles, again 6-12 hours later before putting them in the charger, after charger indicates they are charged, and again after charging them a second time. I will update this review after I have had a chance to experiment with them some more. In the meantime, I have had to recharge half of the batteries at the eight (8) week mark, while the other half of the batteries are still running strong on charge they came with. If I do not run into any other problems, these look like they might be a good investment, (time will tell).

These are the best rechargeable D batteries I've found
I did a lot of research to find a good set of rechargeable D batteries for some pet feeders we have, and these were the best I found. They last a long time and hold their charge better than others I tried.

Meeting all expectations
We installed these batteries immediately upon receipt and a brief charging. They're holding up beautifully through today. Time will tell how long they last, but the results so far are very encouraging.

One of the batteries won't charge.
I was looking for good D cell rechargeables. These sounded good, but after the first time I used them, 1 battery won't take a charge. I emailed the seller, but they never responded back to me. Not much I can do with 1 D cell battery. Disappointed.

Do not buy.
These never functioned properly. One triggers "error" on my charger and won't charge at all after 1 charge. The other never charges completely. It keeps flashing on the last 1/3 of the charge. Definitely a waste of money.

NOT low self discharge batteries
Adequate power and output but NOT LOW SELF DISCHARGE BATTERIES.

These seem like excellent batteries.
So I purchased a 4 pack of the Powerowl rechargeable batteries in size D back in early May 2020. I've really only used them around 5 or 6 times. Recently, I tried to recharge them and one of them will not charge. Powerowl charger I'm using that I bought with the batteries has an err code on one of the batteries. I contacted the seller, and they instructed me that if I would purchase a 2 pack of the D batteries, they would immediately refund me the cost of the 2 pack. I did make purchase and they did refund me for them almost immediately. I have used the batteries and recharged them a few times now and they are holding up so far. I have purchased a total of 10 of these batteries so far and they seem to be good quality. I will update this review if anything changes.
