Comparative Anatomy: Manual of Vertebrate Dissection

wonderful book! Great for class, I use it every day without fail. The only complaint is that the muscle chapters get super, super dense, and it feels like the book tries to touch the surface of certain materials, but throws in words that are unfamiliar and makes the manual harder to read.

When I received the book in the mail I realized it was the correct book but all the pages were placed in a 1 inch binder. I'm not sure if this particular book is supposed to come this way but I don't like it very much. Also, the binder is low quality. I think I will have to replace it with a more sturdy one. The book did come on time which is always a plus.

This textbook was required for an anatomy course taken at my university. This text came in super handy was extremely helpful throughout the lab portion. This book has great pictures perfect for dissections. The loose leaf version is certainly not a hassle for me, especially for a college student that is trying to save money! Overall, an excellent and helpful text for anatomy courses.

They need to do a better job with the pictures. The images were sometimes so zoomed in you couldn't even tell what part of the organism was being showed. I made an A in the class/lab, I recommend students to take their own pictures and not to rely on the lab manual too much.

Good condition but is not in loose leaf format as stated. I wanted the loose leaf version to have only specific chapters in my lab binder. Previous user left many post-its throughout the book covering names on diagrams.

This book was a good price compared to my school bookstore. May have been cheaper to rent but this was the best price I saw for purchasing. Also, you do need a binder for this book as the pages are three ring punched rather than bound.

This book was an optional book for an anatomy class I was taking and it really helped with dissections. It is very detailed and provided some great information and assistance.
