Porter Cable Air Compressor OEM Cylinder & Ring Kit # K-0650

I fixed my Craftsman 30g compressor 919.167320 that wouldn't build pressure. Remove the plastic covers and 4 bolts on the head of the cylinder, check the cylinder for scoring and the condition of the compression ring- mine would only build about 30psi. It takes about 5 minutes to diagnose this problem, and about the same amount of time to install the replacement parts. My 15 year old compressor is as good as new.

I ordered this rebuild kit for my air compressor. Once I revived it I was concerned about the difficulty of installing my new parts. Well I was able to basicly install the whole deal within a half hour. Easy Peazy japinezy. My air compressor is working perfectly. I have no way of telling how long the product will last but everything seemed to be of the same quality as the original parts. Thanks guys!! My air compressor is the most used tool in my shop, and now it's running just as good as new. I would recommend this product to anyone . Even those not mechanically inclined. Install was so simple, and I saved a fist full of money buying your parts, instead of paying someone ,or a shop to repair my compressor.

Fitting the piston ring into the cylinder is a trick. Do not change the thickness it will fit. Cylinder dropped right in. Took about 45 min for the whole job. Works like new!

I rebuild engines for a living on high end german autos. This is not the answer unless you asked a stupid question.

20 min. From start to finish, I wishing had had purchased this a few years ago. My compressor islike new!

I don't think it ran this good when it was new...lol
