This book is good for practicing the skill of critiquing methodologies. So much is left out of the book I'm not sure how useful it is to anyone who has even a basic understanding of research methodologies and methods.

This book is an important and necessary read for doctoral students and scholars interested in literacy research. An extremely helpful component is the listing of exemplars for each research methodology.Many thanks to the authors for this compilation.

This guide provides clear, useful definitions and examples, as well as a wealth of exemplar resources. This is a book to return to again and again when designing studies.

kind of collection of anything and everything on research- but definitely you will need extra resources if you are not really familiar with any of the designs
