This was just the battery I needed for my lawn mower. Arrived quickly, just as advertised.

Worked as well as a new battery should.

This battery fits perfectly in the older models, not the newer ones. I'm really glad I kept the older model in the garage. Now it runs like it did on day one 5 years ago.

Came not charged, wonder if it will hold a charge? Charging now. Seems to be okay

Added this as back up for my weed eater snd leaf blower. Its been flawless so far.

Did not fit return lost the 99 dollars because the clerk failed to check it in properly. Wrote complaint to company. No answer

Summary: I do not recommend this product. It was fine at first, but now it refuses to charge. Full description: I purchased this battery a little over a month ago. It came with about half charge already in it, so I charged it up with the charger I already had for my other batteries. I used this battery for my trimmer and blower. I was able to use it twice (because I do my yard every other weekend) and by time the second use was finished, and I needed to recharge it, it decides to stop accepting charge. Description of problem: So what happens is the battery will run out of juice like normal, and you’ll push the battery indicator and the little green light will flash at one bar telling you it’s dead. So, like always, you place it on the charger. The charger (which charges my 2 other batteries that I bought from my local Lowe’s store) flashes green like it always done while the battery is charging. You think everything is going well... until about 15 minutes or so go buy and you hear this very faint little buzzing/beeping noise. At first I didn’t know where it came from, so I searched around. That’s when I realized it was my battery. The charger light had switched from flashing green to flashing red. I took the battery off the charger and pressed the indicator button. It was still dead. I decided to try it again and let it charge for up to 3 hours, taking it off and checking the level periodically. Still... no luck... So borrowed my brother-in-laws charger for his batteries, and the same thing happened. Our chargers work great on our other batteries, but not this one, unfortunately. I came on here to see if I could return or exchange this as it might just be a fluke with this specific battery, but I had missed my return date by about 2 weeks. 🤦🏻‍♂️ From now on, I’ll just be buying my batteries in person at Lowe’s. Those have yet to disappoint me. Also, anyone want a faulty battery? I know a guy. 😂

Works perfect in my 8+ year older model KM 21808-06 Kobalt push mower. The original batteries still hold around 80% but not enough to no longer do a complete yard mowing on one charge per battery. I can now easily do complete yard and cold charge batteries next day. I hope Kobalt continues making backward compatible batteries in the future.
