It's a basic calculator and does what it's supposed to

When I had to replace my calculator, I was looking for something colorful for my desk at work and this little calculator caught my eye. I love the big numbers and function keys. They're easy to see and it's small in size so doesn't take up a huge space on my desk. One thing that bothers me is the overhead flourescent lighting makes the display difficult to see as there's a reflection problem, but it seems to be the same with whatever calculator I've used so that's not a problem as I just angle it so the lights don't shine directly on the display. The battery is not replaceable but since it's also solar powered, that's not a huge problem, but it really should have been addressed in the original product description. I love this colorful little calculator that adds a touch of pizzaz to my desk.

As for functionality, calculations work as they should, however it has a few quirks that make it unsuitable for my needs.-The calculator arches up, as in the picture, but it is of lightweight plastic material with no weight, so the calculator will not stay in place when punching in numbers. It will wobble this way and that so if you're trying to make calculations one-handed (which is most of the time for me), it will be difficult.-The buttons are stiff and so, combined with the wobbling, becomes a chore pressing (more like punching) numbers. I'm hoping that, over time, the buttons will loosen up.I do like the calculator though for the color, and large, easy-to-read numbers.

I liked the looks of it. The not being able to see it was NOT the fault of the calculator. I have recently gone blindin one eye and I could not read it. My daughter could see it so I gave it to her. So it was a win wins for us both.

I didn't really need a calculator but I couldn't resist the purple one! The numbers on the buttons and the display are clear and easy to read and it seems to work pretty well in fairly dim light. The only issue I have is that the edges are kind of rounded so if you push the buttons on the side too hard (for instance the plus sign) it tips easily. It doesn't tip over, just to the side you are pushing (like a see-saw.) The calculator this replaced was squarer and didn't tip.

Easy to use, large digits. No "off" button, since it has auto-off feature after 10 mins. took off 1 star because no easy way to replace battery. Will need to remove 6 screws to access inside (2 on edge, 4 under rubber feet). Battery is most likely 1.5v button cell alkaline, I'll find out in a couple years.

This product proved to be very efficient when used. I like the size of the screen and buttons. The key pad makes it very easy to ensure that you use the key intended. The display screen provides a considerable amount of space to view calculated results. This is one of the best calculators that I have ever used!

The calculator that I received was defective. The Error code was present from the beginning and would not clear. The unit would not perform any calculations other than addition. Thinking that it just needed more power, I then tried to let it get some solar power for a day or so--but that failed to resolve the issue.I could have asked for a replacement instead of returning it, but I was disappointed to find out how lightweight it was; it is basically necessary to hold the unit with one hand while operating to keep it stable. And it's a shame that the batteries cannot be replaced.On the pro side, if you get an operational one (unlike mine), the color and the pricing is attractive.
