A must have.
I was an Alpine fan for more than 15 years until I got this Kenwood Excelon unit. I'll share a high-level overview of the great findings I had with this unit:1) (comparison point) X-over and digital time correction works great. Alpine and other brands sell additional components to provide such features. Kenwood has it available on most of the units according to the research I made.2) It has a 13 band equalizer, so you have a lot of options to play with and adjust the sound.3) It has a few additional options to provide a better sound quality. Loudness increases the gain a bit, sound enhancer, and some other options I'm still playing with (I've just installed it on Sunday 4/28)Be aware of the following:1) Kenwood wiring harness is a little bit out of standard for the remote. If you're using amplifiers with this one, the remote is the blue/white. There is another blue/yellow used for the steering control adapter and something else they call "remote control" or something.2) First time you turn on the unit it obviously will prompt for a few settings just like everything else. But unit will remain on 'Standby' and amplifiers will not turn on until you select a source. I'm not sure what the standby option would be for.3) buttons have a weird feeling. They are different to what I was used to, these buttons are soft so get used to it.4) changing between sources takes a sec or two because it searches for signal. I would rather recommend disabling what source inputs do you want on the unit. I disabled most of it and leave only the HD radio, BT, and Front USB.In a nutshell, for me it was a great upgrade from my Alpine 149BT.Hope it helps.

Sounds good and fits my car
It's what i wanted. I have a 71 camaro. A double din would be awesome but you can't fit one without mangling the dash. This came with all the features I wanted. It connects Flawlessly to my Iphone as well as my Android tablet. The best feature for me was the dual usb, one in the front, one in the back. I use the back one as my usb thumb drive. The one thing that is not working is the Iheart radio which Iheart stopped supporting kenwood. Not a problem because it supports Pandora and spotify. Overall I'm very happy.

Great unit!
Definitely worth the money, connection wires are decent gauges and has alot! And I mean alot! of settings to go through to make the sound in your vehicle just more crisp :) exactly what I wanted and I my get another for my project car!

Great Single Din for the Money
This is an excellent choice if you want an old school single din head unit.Has 5V preouts so sound quality is excellent. The menus are easy enough to navigate and there are alot of cool features like crossover and gain control.Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the USB input does NOT work with my Pixel 3. I contacted Kenwood about this and they told me to use BT. This is not a problem per say, but I prefer a wired connection bc sound quality typically gets a bump.Anyways, this is a great head unit and you can't go wrong with it as long as you don't mind using BT (or aux) for all of your music.

Pleasant surprise
Wanted hands free blue tooth in an older car. This unit has great bt connection and clarity when on a call. The rear usb connect is great so I don't have to have a thumbdrive sticking out the faceplate. Sound quality is good, but I don't push it hard. Lots of features, but rather difficult to see all the labels for the buttons (very small). Overall, it worked so well I bought another for a different older vehicle.

Great receiver
Cheap receiver but sounds great and the Bluetooth works great on Android.I love the tiny size of it and the light color control is great, you can change colors and brightness independently for the display and knobs, still exploring the rest of the unit.

Great Aftermarket Radio
I installed this a month ago and love it. When I enter the vehicle the bluetooth connects automatically and starts playing pandora. Blutooth phone is also very good. Much better than the OEM Becker POS

Very nice loaded with features
Radio works well I'm using a external amp so I can take advantage of all the cross over features the radio has it is only 4 inches deep and very light. The display is very easy to read BT, phone features and USB inputs work good the only thing the microphone cord could of been longer. Nice radio for the money.
