I am a family physician co-chair of a hospital ethics committee and I have read extensive introductory clinical ethics material. I recommend this book highly for new and current members of ethics committees, whatever their individual discipline. Pamela Grace lives up to her surname, in that she gracefully clarifies complex philosophical discourse, emphasizes narrative medicine, and uses case studies to explore complex ethical situations.

Had the amazing opportunity of studying with Professor Grace. She has written a wonderful text aimed at the practical application of ethics to everyday nursing situations. I highly recommend it!
