Bought these directly from the company's website, along with Classic Biltong and flavored Drowers and Biltong. 17 bags of them, to put in family Christmas stockings. Too tempting upon arrival and I ate a whole bag and now I have been methodically removing bags from stockings and snacking on these things. I came to Amazon to buy more to fuel my obsession.I have been a regular ol Slim Jim eater since childhood. While my husband finds my habit mildly gross, he knows to get me a slim jim any time he walks into a 7-11. I have also tried many similar homemade style sticks and find them bland or salty.These Biltong USA Droewors taste nothing like a slim jim. (I am ashamed of Jim, now) They have a chewy, hearty texture. Much fresher, more natural taste. **The flavor has hints of coriander, cloves and maybe nutmeg?**. If you don't like these spices, you probably won't like these snacks. Hubby despises cloves and coriander and didn't enjoy the flavor of these (but appreciated the texture). I, on the other hand have recently been consuming them during most of my waking hours.Not an overly salty tatse like so many similar sticks and definitely not chemically unlike the gas station fare.While I am pretty adept at making my own homemade meat jerkies, I have never ventured into Sausage stick snack making, but if I did, I would call myself a success if they turned out like these Droewers.Although your breath will taste awful after eating these, I highly recommend giving the Biltong USA jerky and sticks a try. Excellent!

If you are a red blooded American ,used to our traditional off the shelf market jerky ,this will not be your cup of tea !.....however ,if you are an adventurer in your culinary snack pursuits you will truly like this unamerican flavor ! Check it out ?

It is unfair to compare these to the jerked beef/pork which I will no longer buy.The Droëwors Cured Beef Sticks Original are a tasty, mild snack Everything about these have exceeded my expectations!Everyone I have shared these with have been impressed. Especially those who are sensitive to gluten.

I tried this product because it had several good reviews and the price was better than the droevors I usually order. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed in this brand. I prefer droewors that is on the dry side, but this has a very rubbery consistency. The flavor was also not to my liking and had a very strong vinegar aftertaste.I understand that flavor preference is subjective...I just did not care for this particular recipe and will not be buying it again. Going back to my regular brand which I really like.

My favorite Droewors sticks so far. These are better than the Braaitime Droewors for sure.Perfect texture, fattiness, and seasoning. My oral g-spot is activated anytime I chew on one of these. Ohhhhh baby!
