Best all-in-one toothpaste/brush holder
I was looking for a way to store tooth brushes used by me and my kids in the same bathroom (without resulting from using a cup that ends up making the handle slimy after awhile - gross!). This anchors to the mirror with sturdy tape that comes with the unit. The holder can be removed and put back on easily. Room for 2 different tubes of toothpaste. comes with 4 different cups that are recessed in the unit. Easy to clean when you need to. I've been using this for several months now, and I wish I knew about it years ago. I love it!!!! We have 1 person in the house who takes really long hot showers and I worried that this unit would eventually fall off due to being too moist in the bathroom. Nope! It won't budge until you decide to remove it yourself!!! I believe it comes with a second set of tape if you need to move it for any reason. The toothpaste dispenses automatically when you push your toothbrush into the slot...it says it should be able to suck out ALL of the toothpaste, which means you won't be caught with a bunch of it stuck at the end and needed to press it back to the opening.

Great dispenser for the money
Used it for 6 years and it worked great. Had to be cleaned every few weeks at least, but a great deal. Eventually the silicone type pieces that toothpaste squirts out of starts to rip but that's after 6 years of 8 people using it at play twice daily per person. I highly recommend this product.

It gets the job done
Ok. I have 2 boys, aged 6 and 8. They would go thru a tube of toothpaste in a week. They would put so much on their toothbrushes, it would be all over the counter and sink. It was a disaster and I couldn't stand it. How do you get toothpaste on my hair comb that's in a drawer?!?!?!?! Seriously though. I bought this hoping it would help. And it did. Kind of. The kids have their toothpaste in one slot, and mine is in the other. I love the amount it dispenses. It's perfect, IMO. Husband hates it, but he likes using the amount pictured in toothpaste advertisements. However....you need to concentrate. Make sure your toothbrush is in the correct spot. Make sure you don't pull it back too quickly. Make sure the glob of toothpaste isn't still hanging on to the dispenser. If you don't put thought into it you will drop your glob of toothpaste onto the floor or it may smear onto the dispenser. Cleaning the thing is easy. The dispenser portion can slide out, and I run it under the hot water basically melting off the extra toothpaste mess the kids still leave. Then I go and soapy water/disinfect it and put it back in place. So not difficult to clean. Oh, the cups!! Those are nice. The kids use the grey ones that go in at the bottom. They love them and I've noticed zero issues with them. I use the white one at the top, and I don't get it. I've pulled it out the next day and found moisture still in the cup. It's like there is no air flow for the white ones to dry. I ended up just sitting it upright on top of the unit, instead of upside down inside the unit. That way it can dry out between uses. Installing it was easy and here we are, probably 3 month since I've installed it? And it's holding on very well. No concerns about that. All in all, honestly, I feel like it's the same amount of hassle, headache, and mess that I was experiencing before...it's just moved to a different location. I'm still finding toothpaste mess but instead of the counter and sink it's on the dispenser and trash can lid that is directly under the dispenser. And some of that mess if from me too, whereas before it was all only from the kids. The kids are going through less toothpaste though, so that is a win. I can't recommend it nor not recommend it. It all depends on what will keep you more sane. Truthfully, this keeps me more sane than what I was dealing with before.

Great idea, looks nice, but one faulty piece lets it down...
Have you ever watched young children try to brush their teeth? We bought this toothpaste dispenser and organizer in an attempt to organize our bathroom and streamline the bedtime process now that we have a fourth child. We needed the older three to have some independence, and being able to brush their teeth without help and a giant mess was our goal. This worked well for awhile. We found that even this clever solution was not without mess. It works great with our adult toothpastes–the ones with a pasty texture. But the gel-like kids' toothpaste is sticky and gets everywhere. Still, the damage was limited to a smaller area inside the dispenser, and is not too hard to clean. The real issue is when one of the sides of the dispenser stopped working as expected. The plastic piece that the toothbrush presses against was made in such a way that it became warped with repeated use (second photo). The pressure from pressing on it makes the two sides press toward each other resulting in the piece popping out of its proper location. Now, every time my kids press their toothbrushes in the slot, the receiver pops out and the whole thing has to be disassembled and reassembled. Kind of the opposite of what we had hoped. We switched the kids' toothpaste over to the side that my wife and I had been using, but it's just matter of time before the same thing happens. I'm considering 3D printing my own piece to replace the poorly designed one, but that's way too much time to invest right now.

Buy this if you have kids or hate toothbrush stuff lying around.
Imagine, if you will, a sparkling clean bathroom sink and vanity. Bright white, it is newly cleaned and still looks new. Suddenly, three little boys descend upon the bathroom; goopy toothpaste is smeared from one side to the other. Forgetting to rinse, the toothbrushes end up head down on the once-clean sink and leave pools of pasty, white puddles behind. Dixie cups are crumpled, almost making it in the trash. I can scratch through the remnants after one night of brushing. Maddening! Now imagine, after installing this beautiful organizer, a bright white, newly cleaned vanity that STAYS THAT WAY!!!!! It's fun to push toothpaste carefully on the toothbrush so toothpaste isn't smeared from here to Jupiter and back. The cups are neatly put away, and there are NO MORE PUDDLES!!!! It's more fun and reinforcing (apparently) to see the toothbrush dangling in its tidy little spot than to be put back into its former toothbrush cup. After years of trying to teach little ones to clean up their hygiene mess properly, this little gadget has magically transformed them. I think everything is tidy and accessible with this, so it's easier to clean up and put things back where they belong. We use one of the top cups for Q-Tips. The small children's mouthwash fits tidily up top. Best money I've spent in a long time!! It is easy to clean, good quality, and a cinch to install.
