There is a difference in the paint color between a car on the showroom floor and one 9 years old exposed to the environment. That said, this touch-up paint was an exact match in color. 100% perfect. In spite of my shaky hand and less than perfect application of the paint to the spots on my car, they blended GREAT. You cannot even see where I did the touch-ups unless you know exactly where to look, and you are no further than 6 inches out. My expectations were low. I was hoping to protect the spots from rust, and I wanted the best product for that purpose. With an original price of $56k for the car, why would I want to save money on paint and buy an after-market for $16 versus the OEM Mercedes Paint for $32. The paint of the car is the most visible part and obviously, that is not the place to skimp on quality, in my view. I am impressed that the paint and clearcoat is so good that even a novice can apply it and it looks good. The set comes with the metallic paint and clearcoat with good instructions (in about 42 languages). Application does require some focus and I tried to steady my hand as best as I could. For the novice, like me, I suggest you make one pass with the enclosed pen like paint brush for best results. Let dry for 30 minutes and then look at it again. If you need to make another pass with the brush to cover a missed spot or to make thicker, then do so. Otherwise, after 30 minutes of drying, apply the Clearcoat per the instructions. (Avoid repeated passes with the brush as it tends to spear the paint and does not improve its appearance. I discovered through trial and error, that 1 pass resulted in the most ideal appearance and blend. However, even my worse application blended on visual inspection the next day. So, success). I highly recommend this Mercedes Touch-Up Paint. A++ Good luck.

It takes some practice to get best results. But even using it for the first time, it took a while to find the repaired spot when looking at the entire area of the car panel.

The paint dries very fast and can be sanded in less than an hour on a warm day. The paint doesn't peel up while sanding. It's appears to be as durable as the original paint.
