Yes, It is a continuous piece of fabric that you wrap around the traditional style of wear for Indian woman; I am 61 inches tall and weight is 200 lbs. it fit me as expected. I wore an undergarment slip as it is shear fabric and had a separate blouse under the suri; I wore it to a wedding in India and was professionally dressed by an Indian woman to their tradition. You do use safety pins to keep it in place; it folds and tucks around your body so you get a custom fit; very beautiful fabric; I would purchase again. It is the custom of Indian women to use the end of the fabric to have a custom midi top made from the same fabric so the one end is unfinished; they also wear an undergarment slip they use to assist in pinning and tucking the fabric around the body for a custom fit to you. .

Q: does this come with an unstitched blouse and petticoat?

This come as single piece long saree fabric with blouse piece fabric. Blouse piece is a continuous part of saree that is attached at the last end of saree. It is not a separate piece, buyer need to cut it as per size. Petticoat is not included.

Q: What can I wear under the saree?

Spandex or yoga pants & undershirt.
