Ok, so it's a little pricey, but that said it does what it says, can record archive quality m-disc 100gb blu rays.If you want to record high capcity discs that last a long time, then this is a good choice, if you want to record lower capacity non m-disc blu rays that should last 5-10 years, then there are cheaper options

I used UHD Drive tool from dvdfab.cn to take the firmware down to 1.00. I am now able to rip 4K disk with MAKEMKV and use them on my plex/emby server. Although I had to put the drive in and older computer with IDE SATA configuration to re-firmware the drive. Then put it in my new computer and it works great Rip a 4K disk in about 45 min.

These drives are great. I like the they read 4K disks so I can rip them to my media player computer.
