The only trolling motor that can automatically stow and deploy itself with the push of a button, the Minn Kota Ulterra provides convenient control via the included i-Pilot remote or foot pedal. Trim the Ulterra up or down at the push of a button to adjust to changing fishing conditions. Durably designed for all kinds of freshwater boats, this bow-mounted, electric-steer motor attaches to the front of the boat with a bolt-on bracket and pulls it through the water for better maneuverability and control. Using GPS to lock onto fishing spots with Spot-Lock, record and retrace paths, command speed and steering, and more, the i-Pilot Link system allows you to control your motor from the color touchscreen remote or from a virtual remote on your Hummingbird fish finder (sold separately). It also offers Spot-Lock with Jog to hold you in place on top of any productive fishing spot without touching your trolling motor. With the included heading sensor, you can use Jog to move your Spot-Lock location five feet in any direction. An integrated battery meter is built into the i-Pilot to give you an instant reading on the motor's battery life. The Ulterra features a built-in transducer with Hummingbird MEGA Down Imaging (DI), which provides crystal-clear coverage down to 125 feet below your boat so you can easily distinguish fish from structure and even target individual species. The Ulterra trolling motor combines an indestructible composite shaft with the swept-back flared blades of the Weedless Wedge 2 Prop to power through anything without battery-draining chopping and hacking. This Minn Kota Ulterra features 112 pounds of thrust (36 volts) and includes a multi-function foot pedal, heading sensor, mounting hardware and cabling, and i-Pilot GPS system. Connect the Bluetooth-enabled i-Pilot to your Android or iOS device for a quick command of speed, steering, Spot-Lock, and Autopilot.

Life saver!
Don’t know how we ever fished without this! It’s a lifesaver, while fishing as trolling.

This motor will leave you wanting more and stuck on the lake
Well I have owned 2 minnkota trolling motors and have problems with both. Let me tell you this new one, I thought would be better but it actually got worse. First off, the new remote is so sensitive that if you bump it and It bumps the right button it will stow your motor mid troll. Next, Johnson outdoors tells me to fix it, lock the screen, well that is great but by locking the screen it locks out the whole remote steering, speed, and trim. Oh it gets better, you get out in the middle of the lake about 20 miles from the ramp you put in at, and you have the motor down and the motor quits responding and your cell service is so bad that you can't watch a video or call someone to learn how to reset it. My new ulterra 112V with link is about to go up for sale and I am willing to forget about the contour follow and all the other features that go with my hummingbirds, and buy a motor guide. This is so frustrating while I am fishing that I usually just want to use it like a true anchor!!!! I will not buy another unless Johnson can solve what seems to be some simple problems, like lock the digital part of the remote and leave the analog alone.

Broken 6 times in 2 years and Minn Kota Won't Do A Thing About It
Minn Kota has made some great products over the years, and I've owned over a dozen of them. But this motor and their customer service and refusal to take responsibility for their faulty designs and lack of repairs will ensure that I'll be going with Garmin from now on.Minn Kota's official statement on this trolling motor breaking is that IT SHOULD NOT BE USED IN TEMPERATURES OVER 40 DEGREES. By the way, Minn Kota is based out of Minnesota... where apparently no one fishes if it's colder than 40 degrees out. It's rarely OVER 40 degrees out when I'm getting on a lake. Now they want an additional $600+ to fix it even though they have a record of the 5 previous repairs for the exact same problem and their "authorized repair facility" tells me that he's seen well over a hundred of these units with the exact same problems. In fact, Minn Kota has done so much as re-engineer the self-deploy motor, and a bunch of parts because they break so often... yet Minn Kota won't authorize a proper repair on my motor that they've been unable to fix the last 5 times.Do yourself a favor and buy Garmin's new motor.
